Our experience of Mark Roll is that he is not honest. We gave him a chance to make things right and he chose to lie repeatedly.
I was an SSVEC customer for 27 years with reasonably good but not exceptional service. I moved into Tucson 9 years ago for health reasons. They have distributed a small portion of my capital credits in those 9 years but I still have $725 in outstanding capital credits owed to me. At the $2-3/year rate they refund credits it will be at least 250 years before my descendants get the last of what they are owed. SSVEC obviously holds the capital credits so they can subsidize infrastructure for developers with ex-customer $$$. My parents and I have been in 3 other co-ops and it took 20-25 years for all the capital credits to flow back but not 250-300 years.
Robbers! My wife paid our current bill and that same day a new bill came out. I didn't know she paid it and paid the new bill the next day thinking it was the other one. Well after paying $170-which wasn't due for another 3 weeks-bringing our checking account down to $38 and they refused to refund the money even though it wasn't due and it was a mistake. I have yet to be able to speak to a supervisor so this review may change. Until then this company is a bunch of crooks!
