Once again I was blessed with a good wait staff. Lately seems like they really care... good job Tayna.Good food at a reasonable price. Dishes are clean, but food is still very much institutional.
Last week my friend and I attempted to eat at Yum Yum during the Westend Fair. She had her service animal with her, upon arrival the man at the front counter shook his head and said no. Shocked she showed him the appropriate paperwork yet he still refused her entry. He was so rude and unpleasant we asked him to write down his name and the owners contact information (who knows he could have been owner) and again he refused. He got out the phonebook, flipped to their advertisement and told us to take a photo of the ad. When she told him it was illegal to discriminate he raised his voice and said shi* get out or something of that nature. This is so disgusting that a local business would refuse entry to someone with a registered service animal. We will never go back and I will continue to spread the word on this horrible business. *Update - I've found other reviews stating the same thing, refusing entry to people with service animals. This behavior is so sad, I hope they can get educated.
