Best Restaurant in Shreveport

Honestly, Carrabbas is so good, that I have their number in my phone in case I want to call in an order to take home.

Their Italian Bread is to die for. You can order three half-loaves for takeout (which serves 20 people allegedly-- ha! It serves three in my family!) and it comes with herbs and olive oil... for only $5!!!!!!!!

I order the sausage and lentil soup whenever I go there, but their minestrone is amazing, too.

All of their entrees are great, but a favorite in my family is the Trout Nocciola (hazelnut crusted trout).

The atmosphere is pleasant, the service is top notch. My mother is wheelchair-bound, and they ALWAYS keep an eye out to help people like that. Ever time we go there, someone always rushes out to open the doors and hold them, and they rearrange the chairs at the table to allow for the wheelchair. The servers are all friendly. They must be treated well there, because it shows!

The worst dining experience I have ever had in an upscale resturant.

The servers were cleaning off tables while we were eating and our waiter informed us that the manager told them to do that work and not be standing around. Our waiter never came to our table and poured the wine for us. There were about 7--9 tables of people still eating at the same time we were. At 3 of the more upscale resturants around this location were brimming over with customers, not your resturant!
