Manchester-Shortsville Central School District consists of elementary, middle and high schools. It has an enrollment of more than 1,000 students in grades kindergarten through 12. The curriculum offered by the district includes various subjects, such as English, arts, science, mathematics, health and physical education, foreign languages, social studies and computers. It also provides additional courses in industrial technology, family and consumer sciences, marketing, economics, and business and special education. The district also undertakes accelerated reader programs and provides various services to students, such as transportation, career counseling, educational aid and medical assistance. It has a parent teacher association that organizes fundraising events and provides support and financial assistance in school activities. Manchester-Shortsville Central School District has its administrative office located in Shortsville, N.Y.
