I just had a third vehicle in here for paint after being impressed with the customer service and quality of work for the price on the other two. Had a door done on my first job, and the second was a complete repaint. I just took another in for a complete repaint and it turned out nice also. There was one issue that I wanted changed a little and they took it back in and took care of it no problem. Just wanted to also say thanks to the management and crew for the job they did. If the need arises, I'll be back !
Took my car there for some unibody work. While most places have a base charge of 1k for this kind of work, I drove away with a straight unibody here for less than 400. I took my car in for an alignment and everything is now within spec. I'm very happy about that. About my only complaint is I wanted the fender to seat better on the side that was hit. I think all they did was straighten the axil alignment, but for the price I can't complain.
I have never taken the time to actually post a review on yelp, but after the service I received, at the Shoreline Maaco, I had to acknowledge Jon and his team beyond a verbal thank you. I went in inquiring about fixing some body damage and possibly re-painting my '04 Yukon Denali and after getting some price quotes from other body shops I decided to return to Jon's shop. He conveniently scheduled my work to be done with I was going to be out of town, which saved me having to get a rental car! He quoted me 7-8 days to get the job done and completed it in 6 days! This was a big job, painting a Denali glossy black (from silver) and the finished product looks amazing!! I felt like I got a new truck when I picked it up that day. After leaving the shop I had noticed one of my rear lights was not working. I called Jon and he said just bring it back in and we will fix it. I brought my truck back in a few days later and Jon immediately met me outside and had a mechanic pull the lights apart, replace the bulb and I was on my way. Jon was apologetic for missing this before I left the first time, but he was quick to fix this issue and didn't charge me anything! I am always leery to try a new body shop, but I will definitely return to Jon in the future if I need work done. Kudos to him and his team! Thanks Jon!!!
The bodywork and paint job came out fine. Great actually. And for a good price. I would not hesitate to use Maaco again. Really good value. One star off is for the fact that my car was supposed to be ready but when I arrived some of the lights and my license plate were not done yet. The owner was nice enough to get his guys to hussle and get the car ready and unfortunately their hussle was, well a bit leisurely. I ended up waiting about 50 minutes from the point when I arrived for pick up to driving away. Car looks great though!
These guys did a great job. My car had some red drops from some graffiti artist who's can ran out of paint just as he got started! My boss paid to have my whole car painted and said take it to Maaco where he had a few cars done. Taylor explained everything to me and I went for the mid range price. They repaired a couple rust spots and small dents as well as sanded out scratches. I asked to make the dark wine color a little bit more to the black side and they got it just right. They said it would be ready Thursday or Friday and it was done on Thursday. Really nice people and the car looks fantastic!
I took my car into Maaco last Friday to get an estimate on some minor paint work and to look at my bumper that they had repaired 3 years ago. They told me that the minor paint work only required some buffing out and about that they would repair the bumper under the warranty with no charge. The guy did a beautiful job on the paint repair and fixed the bumper to look like new. They were extremely prompt, efficient and courteous. I will definitely go back if I need any future work done on my car.

I took a car there after an accident. Two doors needed to be replaced. I was told that it would take 3-4 days. Didn't hear from them so I called. It actually took 7 days. It created a lot of inconvenience since I only have 1 car,
When I got my car back, I noticed that they missed a spot in terms of painting the car. When I asked about it, they said that it wasn't included in the work order (which is their error.) I was told that I could leave the car with them again if I wanted that fixed. I chose not to because I coudn't afford to not have my car for work.
After a couple of days, one of the replaced doors would not open from the outside. Also, when I drove the car on the highway, there was a whistle coming from the other door as if it wasn't sealed properly.
So had to take it back after all. The whistle is still there after I got it back but I'm not taking it back.
I hope to spare you a similar experience.
p.s. I noticed that the 2/10/11 five star review is actually from the owner himself, not a customer.

I had read the previous reviews before writing this. It makes me feel that some people expect a lot from a cheap paint job. You get what you pay for, but there are alot of things you can do yourself to ensure that you get closer to your vision of perfection. 1st off if your not expecting overspray on your parts your crazy. things you can do (A) remove your parts or tape up yourself (B) pay maaco to remove and install your parts to ensure they won't get painted, its common sense, there will be a lot of imperfections if you do nothing. I had taken my 98 prelude to them and talked with 3 employees. None of them treated me unfairly. They were willing to work with me on a price and sat down with me to help look for my specific color. Before taking my car to them I looked at my car and took all my parts off that I thought could be accidently oversprayed. Thats right I said accidently, I find it hard to believe maaco employees are out to ruin your car and your day. Once I came to pic my car up I wasn't completely satisfied. They didn't paint my sideskirts that went in the door jamb. I know that painting door jambs cost extra I just assumed they would paint them and I know I wasn't specific to begin with. I was mad at first but then I realized it was my fault, I didn't specify. There was also overspray on some parts of the car but an employee was right on it to make sure I was satisfied. Looking at the big picture of it all $905 and one kick azz looking car it was well worth the petty imperfections. I will recommend there services to anyone , But if your looking for perfection go somewhere that will charge you for it. Also do your research and ask questions if you care about your car as much as I do. thanks

I would NEVER recommend this shop to ANYONE! It took them three EXTRA weeks to get the car done. After paying over $2000.000 for them to fix and paint the front end they STILL couldn't get it right. We tried it pick it up three different times and it was just never right. The first time there was paint that ""dripped"" on the car over the night so they needed to ""buff"" it out. Next, the radiator leaked after not even getting 1/4 of a mile down the road (after they assured us that it went under ""extensive testing"" to make sure it didn't leak). The final time we went to pick it up it was missing parts, the blinkers didn't work and there was paint on the headlights! They couldn't even clean up after themselves. We got the car back dirty and dusty and they were just RUDE!!! After trying three times to get them to fix their mistakes we just walked away! It was WORTHLESS! The manager said he wouldn't want his car looking like this, but he'd send out a car like this? UNBELIEVEABLE!
We originally went there because it was inexpensive....but what we got was CHEAP, thrown together work! I would have spent $2000.00 more elsewhere to have not had to deal with these people!!!

I am disappointed, I went to Maaco because I thought it was a name I could trust, Americas Auto Body. I am more than dissatisfied with the work done to my car. I spoke to several credible shops all of them telling me not to wash my car for the first month, which I found interesting because maaco told me to wash my car as often as possible. After speaking to their customer service found that if I were to do that it would void my warranty.
