Before pawning an item, take a minute to learn the ins and outs of how these stores operate.
Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had buying a firearm. First of all, let me preface this with the fact that I think pawn shops are notorious for taking advantage of desperate people. I decided that I was going to sell one of my handguns and buy a shotgun for home protection. After agreeing to a price on the handgun that I was selling, I went ahead and purchased the shotgun while my wife was looking at other handguns. When my wife decided that she didn't want to buy anything else and I had already purchased the shotgun, the owner decided to not honor the amount we agreed upon for my handgun. They would not let me return the shotgun at that moment and I decided that I'll never return to this store. When I arrived home, I opened the bag to see that the "gun specialist" had picked out special ammo that would be easier for my wife to shoot. Only problem was that he sold her 16 gauge shells for a 12 gauge shotgun!
The only person that has any decency with your items is the owner. I brought in 3 items, 1 I knew wouldn't fetch much, but the other 2.. 1 Was worth atleast $50 and the other atleast $70 even used. The man took a quick glance and told me $15, $5 for each. Now how does an item that goes for around $70 turn into $5? Maybe I should've haggled, maybe he thought I didn't know anything. I understand it's a business and they make money this way, it that was too huge of a gap and I severely got screwed. I will be going back and buying my items back and selling the, for what they're really worth. It's a shame they can do whatever they want being the only shop in the area that has the biggest selection and nicest store. Shame shame shame. So disappointed. Will start looking towards other pawn shops.
I have bought a couple guns and a little fishing tackle.I deal with Dearl most if the time. Nice man.
I would give this pawn shop 0 stars, biggest jersey I've ever dealt with. They sold my $500 TV when I was 2 days late
I have been buying and selling firearms here for a long time. I have never had any real bad feelings for any of the employees. It may take a while to get the customer service you want if they're extra busy. Like I say I've been dealing with them for years and before and right after they stay extra busy so, it may take a bit longer just be patient and you will get the best service that I've been getting for years. They always have the ammo and firearms that many people are looking for at the best prices.
this pawnshop pays peanuts for gold! I'm glad i did not sell them anything! they also claimed it was 10k on my 14K don't even go there. i got the best money at D Master Jeweler, and texoma gold both in sherman
Not big on customer service some of the workers are not knowledgeable. Their prices for the most part are reasonable.
