went there during the weekend, was very skeptical about our choice as the restaurant looked very small from outside. after we got our food on the table it totally changed our perception. the taste was great, we all five ordered 5 different items, all five are fabulous. even the dessert was awesome. bottom line..had nice time in this restaurant, though the restaurant is small, but the interior left a feel good image with nice food.
should go there ..when i go to LA again.

The thing I like most about this thai restaurant is the extensive and creative menu. While I haven't tried the korean bbq with homemade kimchi, I appreciate it's there if the day comes that I might be in the mood for it.
I've tried their delicious green curry salmon, chicken satai and veggie curry; I liked their green curry salmon the best. Spring rolls are pretty good as well. Decor is also nice - I'll definitely be back, maybe to try their homemade kimchi.

We just came back from eating here. I have to say that the entrees were absolutely delicious! I am a huge fan of Thai food and have been to Thailand, so a bit particular for authenticity. I had the Siam Steak salad. The meat was not the best cuts, but it was moist and not overcooked and dry. The lime juice, chili peppers and fresh herbs made it extremely tasty. I wondered what the ""vegetables"" would be because the menu did not specify that. Turns out it was halved cherry tomatoes, slivered onions and raw cucumber pieces. My dining partners had Tom Yum soup, Phad Thai, and Chicken Pad Prik King. The Phad Thai was sweet and saucy and the chicken and green beans were amazing. A very good balance of spicy and flavorful, with crunchy, fresh green beans and tender chicken breast slices. The Tom Yum soup (with chicken) was amazing! Plenty of lemongrass for that exotic flavor, and just the right amount of spicy. For dessert we had Tiramisu, Cheesecake, and Thai Custard with sticky rice. The Thai custard was actually made on site and was coconutty and delicious. The cheesecake and Tiramisu on the other hand were pre-packaged and still partly frozen. They were OK, not great. This place would do themselves a service by not offering them. The Thai Iced Tea was sweet, strong, and creamy. On the downside, I felt the portions were a little scant for the prices they were charging. The service was very friendly, but a bit slow and kind of inept, like everyone was still in training to work at a restaurant. We beat the dinner rush and got a parking spot curbside right out front. There is a small parking lot around the back, but it was full even though we were the only customers. I would have given Thai Cabin 5 stars, but I deducted one for the small portions and so-so frozen desserts.
I found this place randomly searching and I was pretty pleased. I tried the yellow curry with beef and the chicken pad thai. As far as curry goes, it was pretty tasty, although the potatoes were a tad disappointing. The curry was thick and pretty spicy for yellow curry, which was a definite plus. Chicken pad thai was also very good, and I would definitely get it again! There aren't too many good Thai places this area, so I'll definitely make this a regular stop.

Stay Away From this place, the food is good but the service is horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not only did it take them days to bring the food out ,but they also made me wait half an hour for an entree that they completely forgot about!!!! And to top it all off they charged my credit card twice and increased the amount by like ten dollars!!!!!!!! When I asked them to correct this erroe the next day, they refused to help me or let me talk to their manager!!!!!

Everything here is delicious. The staff is very nice and personable. It is a gem in the Valley. From the outside, you would have no idea how quaint and adorable the restaurant is. The prices are extremely reasonable. The take out is speedy and just as good!

We recently moved to Sherman Oaks from Hollywood, so fearing that anything would never be as good as ThaiTown on Hollywood Boulevard, we ordered take out and were very happy with the results. Guy on the phone had a bit of a language barrier, but nothing major, food was reasonably priced, delivered on time, and quite tasty. Will order from there again!

I had never been to this restaurant before so I thought I'd try them out. I ordred out for delivery and found the gentleman who answered the phone to be very freindly and helpful. He explained certain dishes to me that I was not familiar with and I do have food allergies. I made a comment that I couldn't have a particular dish. With his help, I ordered a great vegetarian noodle dish with an order of chicken satay. The food came within the time specified and it was really delicious!

I love this little place. Great dine in, take out or delivery. I always get the panang beef. It's delicious! They also have great noodle dishes like Pad Kee Mow. The servers are very friendly and polite. They are able to keep your contact info and credit card on file when ordering for delivery, which is very convenient. Best Thai food in the valley.
