Golden State Health Centers, headquartered in Sherman Oaks, Calif., specializes in short and long-term convalescent and rehabilitation nursing care, and provides physical, occupational and speech therapies, wound care, respiratory care, an assisted living facility and geriatric psychiatry services. It also offers a facility designed to serve those with Alzheimer's and Alzheimer's-like diseases as well as two psychiatric facilities serving young and middle-aged adults. Founded in 1968, the company has facilities located throughout Los Angeles including the City of Los Angeles, the San Fernando and San Gabriel valleys, Glendale and Santa Monica.
