When I checked in, in the early afternoon, in the heat of the day, I was greeted by a wonderful lady. Laurie as I found out later that day was absolutely terriffic. I told her that I had the dogs with me and she told me that it was perfectly fine to leave the dogs in the room, which was a surprise and a delight because it was getting hot and my husband and I didn't want to leave them in the truck while we were downtown. It's the only place we stayed on our trip that we didn't have to worry about the dogs getting too hot. Our room was wonderful. The bed (king size) was THE BEST on the whole trip. The room was so clean, and the tile in the room was a great idea. I wish all motels would do that in their pet rooms. I think the tile makes the dogs more comfortable, as there aren't soooo many different animal smells to confuse them. We also liked the field out back of the motel for the dogs to run and do their thing. We would definetly stay there again, if we get back to Sheridan. I've told alot of people that also have pets about Trails End and that it is a MUST place to stay. The breakfast buffet was most excellent. Continental breakfast is okay, but buffet is perfect. The dining room smelled so good when we got in there. I'm not much on scrambled eggs, but these were really good, not rubbery like most scrambled eggs get. If you like waffles, you can make your own. What a great idea. I told my husband that Sheridan was a great place to visit, and you folks just proved me right. Thanks so much. Plains, MT.

The rooms are basic and require an update but they are adequate and clean. The service is great. The guy that checked us in was very helpful and chatty and offered free tokens for the trolley bus tour of Sheridan. We used the tokens and the tour picks up at the hotel entrance every hour and then takes you round the town with the driver/tour guide explaining its history. We were the only passengers and you couldn't hear very well what the driver was saying but it was nice to sit back and enjoy the view. The lady on the front desk later in the evening was great. My Mum had left her camera case on the trolley and as a storm brewed they cancelled the rest of the tours but the lady at the front desk phoned round for us and had someone drop the case off to the hotel - service above and beyond :) The breakfast was great - all the cereals, toast, boiled eggs, pastries and drinks you could want in huge quantities.
We arrived in Sheridan very late at night and tried a few other places that had no vacancy. We came upon the America's Best Value Inn and took it for what we could get, but we could not believe how nice it was! We expected the bare minimum for the price they asked, but the room was decorated nicely, extremely clean, and had a microwave, fridge, and television. The shower was really fantastic, too! Breakfast was included with the room, and they served hardboiled eggs, cereal, oatmeal, waffles, toast, fruit and muffins. The staff was very friendly and we just felt at home! There was a separate laundry room as well, which we did not use but always love to see on the road. We would absolutely stay here again! Thank you for the great night!
My family and I needed a place to stay while we were waiting for an insurance claim to be fixed. Our whole house flooded because to a leaky toilet and we woke up to a river of water. I was so upset. I have a newborn child and she needed a place to nap and take a shower. I thought of going to a hotel, but I didnt know how long Id have to stay. The insurance paid for us to stay here at at the Sheridan and I am glad I picked this hotel. The rooms were roomy enough to stay in for a long amount of time, and the service was amazing. It was nice to have a place to go when my home was in shambles. Thank you again for helping me in my crisis.
We didn't quite know what to expect. It was in a great location, just off the freeway and all the amenities. However, when we arrived we found an extremely courteous and helpful staff. When we went to our room, we found it to be clean, well-stocked and it smelled fresh. The carpet was clean and felt clean. The room was simply but appropriately furnished. The beds were comfortable. Everything worked from the light switches to WIFI and TV. The breakfast was outstanding. It had variety of items and was well-stocked. Menu items included waffles, a variety of juices, cereals, muffins, bagels and a variety of fruits.
We came in late off the road, got a downstairs room and parked in front of our door which is important to us. We found a small clean room equipped with microwave and refrigerator. Effort was taken to make room appealing. The owner was pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. The room was dated, but it was cleaner than other more expensive motels on our trip, the bathroom especially. We could have ate breakfast and done laundry which is a plus. We would stay here again because it was the best value of our 2 week trip. We rarely see small older places like this anymore run so well.
Cute, comfortable motel. We booked online and host quickly got us registered. Great value! We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms - nice decor, very clean. Shower was roomy enough and had the sink outside the room so it was easier for a family of four to maneuver. Breakfast was very nice - deluxe continental with waffle maker, hard boiled eggs and plenty of oatmeal, toast, bagels, coffee and juice. We stayed here a short night while traveling to Yellowstone but I would highly recommend for a nice, comfortable stay.
stopped on our way to Seattle WA and was recommended by the information lodge up the road. Found the rooms to be exceptionally clean and comfortable and the hospitality room was immaculate. The elderly lady running the breakfast made us feel right at home and was very funny and cheerful. We felt as if we were guests in her own kitchen! Loved the luxurious beds and was pleasantly surprised at how clean and nice it was. We will definitely stay here again sometime soon on our way back to Ohio.
Very clean room and very comfortable. Bed was nice and very quiet place. Just because outside looks older does not mean the inside is not nice. Very good value. People at front desk very friendly and helpful. Pulled in a little early on motorcycle, and the lady saw us waiting outside and came across the parking lot even tho she was on a break just to help us. That is good service. We were tired after a long ride.
My wife and I needed a room in Sheridan while spending a couple of days at the Tongue River Reservoir with family. We picked it because of the price...amazing. And to our surprise it was very clean, extremely comfortable and they were amazingly accommodating. Not only was the room clean and comfortable but there was a "Hospitality Room" for continental breakfast in the morning. Very good choice.
