Laser Eye Surgery

Slade, an ophthalmologist and world-renowned refractive eye surgeon, joined the staff as a surgical consultant. Dr. Slade was the first doctor in the country to perform LASIK refractive surgery. Dr. Slade has taught LASIK to more than 8,000 surgeons nationwide and wrote the first LASIK textbook. Today all pre- and post-op care for LASIK is managed in The Woodlands by Woodlands Eye Associates and the surgery is performed by Dr. Slade in Houston.
