This is a cautionary tale - if you value you money and good customer service, then this business is not for you. Here's what happened: I dropped off a winter leather coat and asked the owner to replace the fabric coat lining. I supplied the fabric and it simply required sewing the new fabric over the old fabric. After waiting about 6 weeks for the coat, I discovered they had removed all of the insulating material and just sewed the new lining on to the leather. The insulating material is what made it a warm winter coat and non one told them to mess with that. When the owner was questioned, they lied outright and said they should have been told to keep the insulated material. Huh??? Worse yet, they refused to fix the problem without charging another $65 fee on top of the $65 already paid plus buying the new insulation. This coat is now ruined. This is not how a professional does good business.
Tommy is the best. He is polite and gracious. for $1.75 a shirt I will never spend 2 hours a week washing, drying and pressing 6 dress shirts! $11 here I come.
We brought in a panel pair of curtains which were long. Even though my husband told the gentlemen what they were he wrote them down as table runners and said due to the length he would have to charge extra - $20 total for both - no problem. Upon picking them up the wife said her husband got it wrong and said the total would be $44. She said she called my husband and he said ok. He says she called and said they were table runners and pick up on Wednesday instead of Tuesday. Due to broken English he thought that was all she said. Regardless, the person checking them in should have known what he was doing . . . his mistake cost us double - ridiculous!! We will never do business here again . . . feel like it was a scam. The original price should have been honored . . . their mistake not ours. If we didn't pay we wouldn't get our cleaned curtains.
I think Grace does a wonderful job with alterations. Beautiful work. She has everything finished on time and very well done.
Everytine I go, the prices are different depending on who is there. A coat I have always taken there costs between $18-20. The lady said she'd give me a good price this time of $7. When I picked it up, the owner demanded $30 and one of the spots was still there. I will NEVER go back.
Very friendly, keeps my dress shirts very clean. Always recommend them.
Tried many places, this is the best cleaner in town!!!!!
