I'm surprised he's allowed to teach young adults to drive. He was very rude on the phone when I called to register my child, but I passed it off as a bad day at work/benefit of doubt. In person, Ken normally yells when he talks, very abrasive and I feel like he's going to have a heart attack at any moment from the way he acts. I can't imagine being in the car with this crazy man. VERY unprofessional with a hint of crazy/unstable. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I took drivers training from Solomon. Mr.solomon is the best i would suggests for any one to take driving at Solomon it was amazing.
I don't know why people are commenting only good thing about this driving school. I will share my recent experience with one of the driver teaching me a driving lesson from this institute. He was from Iran and he taught me driving like he was just obligated to teach me and he doesn't want to show up on time and after we finished after 3 day driving practice he told me I can contact him after I finished practicing on my own but after I finished practicing after one month I called Solomon driving institute and the person there says he is not available and he is busy that week every time I call him to say that I'm ready for the test. I can even post the screenshot of the message he sent me telling he is not available anytime or any day and hung up on me when I called. Worst driving institute ever. I don't know why people are writing good reviews about this institute. Most of them are probably fake. Don't join this driving school. The teacher is very rude and he don't like teaching you. I won't promote any other driving institute since I have only been to this driving school and it's the worst fucking nightmare. I paid my whole fee and they cut me off after when I was ready for the test. The driver doesn't even teach you properly and isn't friendly and doesn't like you to talk much. He just wants to finish his job. And they will not call you back after they get paid to ask you if you're ready or not and probably hung up on you even if you do that after. I was so angry at this teacher that I even sent this mail to report secretary of state along with the attachment of message sent to me via this institute where he quoted, " I'm not available anytime."
So at this school when you drive you get yelled at and he swears at you for no reason on a 30 degree day he had his window down and we were all cold he wouldn't roll it back up. In class he just assigns book work everyday and you watch videos i learned hardly anything in this class. When taking the test if you dont have a pencil you have to pay him $2 for one which is pretty scummy. And there are a lot of questions on the test that you didnt see in the book or videos all in all i would reccomend staying away.
I would avoid this place. We called and booked my sons Segment 1 course a couple of weeks prior to the start of the class. I was told over the phone that I would receive paperwork in the mail for the first day of class. I never received it. I called in the early afternoon, a couple of hours before the first class to ask about it and was told not to worry about it and that my son could get the paperwork to take home that day. When my wife took him, they were told that the class was overbooked and that only those who had their paperwork filled out already would be accepted. A friend of mine was their with her son and she was turned away as well while others rushed to fill out their paperwork and jump ahead in line to keep their place in the class. We were lied to and I would avoid this place at all costs.
TERRIBLE PROGRAMDO NOT GO THROUGH THIS COMPANYWASTE OF MONEY FOR WHAT YOU GET
My son took his road test at Sterling Heights PEP Boys with an atrocious instructor named Kathy. Kathy is a blonde haired, disgruntled, 65+ year old with an ATTITUDE!!! She was extremely unpleasant and displayed a deMEANor (notice the word mean capitalized) that was uncaring and disinterested in being there. Kathy did nothing to help put my son at ease or provide any positive feedback during his road test. The whole time he was tense and nervous. At the end of the road test she told him that he did not use his mirrors enough and turned his head too often to look in his blind spots. You are supposed to look in your blind spots as this was heavily emphasized to him during his Segment I training. Kathy focused on the negative and only cited errors he made instead of providing praise for the things he did correctly. Why is this person an instructor???? She has no regard for the student or their feelings as my son sat in the driver's seat in tears. This was a total waste of $55 cash. Courtesy Driving School has a real problem with this instructor Kathy. Check the reviews here as well as Google Reviews and you will see we are not the only ones who had a bad experience with Kathy. I seriously hope management at Courtesy Driving School has a discussion with Kathy regarding her behavior and attitude; their reputation is at the mercy of the people that represent them.
Truly an awful business. Lots of problems with this whole company but we filed assault charges against a lady that is in charge for hitting my 15 year old. Please don't take your kids here.
The women who runs the road test, a Blonde who has a Dodge truck, is absolutely atrocious. We went to the road test area, and she did not give us any direction or anything, we had to go up to her. She gave very little explanation of what to do and was very intimidating, leaving a bad impression. She needs to learn communication and people skills. It is a waste of 55 dollars to test here, even if you pass.
I had scheduled my road test for 2:30. I arrived at the location early, like they asked, but my instructor was very behind, but didn't care to tell me. Ended up starting an hour late without anysort of warning or apology. We had to do the parkparking turn first, and I had a hard time with parallel parking, it took me three tries but I got it perfect the last time, but she refused to take me on the road. I've never had a bigger waste of $50
