Went into shelby urgent care on a Sunday morning in a lot of pain needing urgent medical attention. I was hunched over in excruciating pain and was checked in to a see a dr, as soon as the dr seen me they immediately let me know that there isn't much they can do for me as they don't have proper imaging tools to see what's wrong with me and told me that I need to go to the ER. Even though the dr didn't do anything other than tell me that there is nothing they can do for me and tell me to go to the ER, they made sure to hold me there for another 10 mins while they fill out paperwork for me to sign and charge me $100... $100 for them to tell me they cannot do anything for me, and to go to the ER!!I'm not in the profession of giving people medical care and helping people get better. But, to me that was not helping me at all to hold me up from receiving the urgent medical care, that I did need, to charge me $100. To me Shelby Urgent Care IS NOT IN THE BUSINESS OF HELPING PEOPLE, THEY ARE IN THE BUSINESS OF TAKING ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE!! STAY AWAY FROM THESE GREEDY PIGS!!!
