Baker's Mobile Home Movers

I had Bakers move my 10 x 20 wood building with a metal roof and they were great. He came out the day before and looked at both locations, where it was being moved from and moved to, to make sure there wasn’t any complications. He moved it the day after I called for a quote and he could have moved it the day I called but I was busy so they are also fast. I had been quoted DOUBLE from other moving businesses in the area but his price was very reasonable. Other places wanted to charge for leveling it and setting in on bricks but he included that in the price he gave me. He and his workers answered all my questions before leaving and the questions were about my building not about moving it. They were so friendly and polite. Overall he was fast, reliable, reasonably priced, extremely friendly but also professional and did great work. I would recommend him over and over.

Worst mobile mover on the east coast !! I paid him $3500 to move my 2 year old home from Nc to Va he didn't even get out of the park without hitting a tree , after he got it here and set it up and high tailed it back to Nc I had to get another mover to reset it because it was 12 higher on one side cost me another $1500 I took him to court as well and won my judgment against him so mobile home owners BEWARE !!!!

We were extremely impressed with Bakers. We had 3 movers in Rutherford co look at our property's to move a mobile home and no one had the ability to do the job or were very slow to respond. We called Bakers in Shelby, heresponded to calls quickly and completed the job FAST and did an absolute excellent job. Will use if we ever move another and recommend to anyone!

Told us he would help us move an old mobile home out and another mobile home in. We set it up to be moved yesterday and we gave him a call and he said that we didn't confirm plans with him. He told us he might could do it today. Called him 7:30 this morning and he says all of his equipment was tore up yesterday and he couldn't help us. Completely unreliable, unprofessional and laughed at everything we said even when we were serious trying to make plans. I think it's time for him to retire.

I don't know what Polly problem is but we took her to court n won fair n square she was wanting us to move a house that wasn't even in her name n still had money owed on it by law we couldn't move it so there for it couldn't have failed inspection due to the fact we never moved it n we do own our equipment we do excellent work she is a liar she lied in court n shes lying now she will be delt with legally we have more people that will tell the truth about us than one that can't do nothing but lie

Everything we hired this man to do failed inspection and he refused to correct the problems and quit in the middle of the job. We hired Baker in mid October. He put in a drain that the state road department stated was "woefully inadequate". The driveway was impassable. The house seat failed inspection because he leveled it up with fill dirt. Trees were left dangling dangerously from the branches of other trees. He was hired to move our double wide in this agreement. Come to find out he was going to borrow the equipment from someone else to do the job and was never able to obtain the equipment. Since he could not get the equipment he tried talking us out of moving our house. Baker quit the job after the house seat failed inspection. Suing him does no good because he has friends all the way to Raliegh and argues the people he screws over will be unjustly enriched due to his time on the job. We don't want anyone else to be screwed over by this man. If you don't believe me go ask anyone in the community. I wish we had before we hired him but not being from the area we didn't know. I wish I could post the pictures of his work on here.
