Hasbell Skid Steer Services

I hired Hasbell's last summer to take out two trees in my yard, including grinding the stumps and roots. They left large piles of mulch where the trees had been and after I moved the mulch, the roots were still there. I have been trying for nearly a year to get them to come back and finish grinding the roots. When I have called, I get only excuses and false promises that they will get to it. They are NOT the only tree service in Shawnee and I WILL NOT use them again.

I've had to stay on them to get anywhere with them. When rain delayed having them come to do the work, they did not follow through and check to see if the yard was passable so they could get in to where the tree is. After checking it, I was told they would be back in a couple of hours. Four hours later, there was still no sign of them, and no courtesy call. I called the office, and was told to call Stacy on his cell phone. No answer. I tried repeatedly. Finally, I called the office again, and the office manager (a family member) said she'd try to get them. Well, old man Hasbell called me instead of the son, Stacy. He talked repeatedly interupted me and talked over me, and when I spoke up and told him to let me finish and to not interupt me, he told me to get someone else to do the job. I informed the office manager that I was shredding the contract, but she begged me to let her get ahold of Stacy first. Stacy called, told me they had two employees walk off the job and leave it unfinished. Given the way they treat their customers, I'd imagine they have a tough time keeping employees. I did pin Stacy down to 9 am tomorrow. If he's not here, I'll be posting another review. I did tell him that all he needed to do was call me. Just one courtesy phone call. Instead, he inconvenience not only me, but the neighbor through whose yard he needs to bring his equipment.

Signed a contract with Hasbell's Tree Service in May; the job has NOT been completed as of today - Aug 23. Has promised to come out and complete the job at least 15 times --- after numerous phone calls, but has not kept his promise and never shows up when promised!!
