I love this place.. The people that work there are very nice. As to the post under mine, I don't know what your talking about, they are very nice people and very helpful. I have been to other stores like this and NONE of them take clothes in trash bags... Maybe you should read their policy's before going in to the stores! I don't believe your " quotes, unquoted" I think you we're in a bad mood to begin with. They have always been helpful, and I will only shop there now... Maybe the person that wrote that under me should get their facts straight before bashing people... Just saying......
I usually give all my twin daughters clothes to Goodwill but since most of the clothes were never worn, I decided to try a second hand shop. I walked in and a disheveled lady stood up from behind the desk with a sigh and a look as to say "great, another customer with clothes". The first words out of her mouth were "what sizes do you have." I told her and then she said "we don't take clothes that come out of trash bags." Yes, I used the dreaded yellow trash bag! So be aware that you must take your clothes in "some type of plastic container as they will not accept clothes out of a trash bag. But she said she would accept them "this one time." So I took out a cute little white sweater and laid it on the counter and she looked at me with astonishment and said "I've had two others bring in clothes so I'm not going to get to yours today" at which I replied "I'm not in any hurry so whenever is convenient for you will work for me." Then she laid down a fom of some type with bright yellow highlights all over it. She continued "I will get to your clothes tomorrow and then I will call you and you will have until 5 o'clock to pick them up and if you don't pick them up by 5, we will keep them." I just had a really bad, unwelcomed feeling in my stomach and thought to myself - isn't it much easier to take your new clothes to Goodwill (tax write-off) and know that someone will really enjoy them and appreciate the donation? Yes, I think so! Goodwill, here I come!
