Well it's about time for this review ! We used Jungle Jims for the first time last fall. Yes we left our three dogs in the care of complete strangers. They are now our friends. The time they spent and the care they gave was exceptional. We received text messages and photos everyday for the weeks we were gone and came home to three happy and healthy dogs. I don't own any animals personally that get to go to the puppy palace but one of my best clients does. Since her little Millie has been going for play dates her personality took a dramatic change for the better. You heart soars when I see Millie actually sitting at the end of the hall waiting for Jungle Jim to pick her up. I truly believe he is a animal angel earning his wings. Super to see people with so much passion for life and to share it with creatures with 4 legs. You are loved.

We travel with our job and are usually in the same place for about 3 months. We have two boxers and they have been to many dog day cares, but this is by far the best. Jim is absolutely great with the dogs. Jason and Rob were great as well. They are like a big happy family.

He keeps it a small enough group and all the dogs seem to get along (not like many that pack them in). They come home tired and have to take a nap before bedtime. And can’t wait to get back there each time we go.

There is also dog walking, grooming, pick up and drop off service. Even Took one of them to the vet for me. It is time for us to go and we hate leaving Jungle Jim’s, Dallas and Allie are going to miss this place, Jim and all the friends they have there.

typical mother worrying about her little one and

have certainly found out that she is in wonderful hands. She has come out of her shell so much since she has gone there and loves being around the other dogs. He has a

service available to us dog lovers that matches no other. When I drop her off I know I do not have to worry about her that she is in good hands. He even texts me through the day with

pictures and little updates, I love that. I now have them dropping her off at home in the evening and that is such a relief to me when I am at work and really busy. I am so glad that I have found Jungle Jim's and I would recommend them to anyone.

Jungle Jim's doggy day care has been a dream come true for both my dog and I. My english bulldog Dudley has been going to Jungle Jim's for almost a year and I cannot say enough great things about the daycare and especially the owners :) They are wonderful people who truly care about their clients and all of the animals. When I drop my dog off every morning I have no doubt that he is getting the best care possible. I'm so thankful to have found the perfect place that suites my busy schedule along with taking great of Dudley. I highly recommend Jungle Jim's services to anyone in need of pet care, it was truly the best decision I have made for my dog.

Jungle Jim's is Perfect! I moved to the area in June and was so worried about not finding a doggie daycare/pet sitting service. My 2 boxer boys, Ryder and Gunner, are used to a doggie daycare several times a week so I was scared I wouldn't find one in this area (much smaller than in Virginia Beach). My boys are my children so I would not trust them with just anyone. I rec'd Jim's number from our Realtor so I gave it a shot. From our first meeting, I knew Jim could be trusted and the boys were in good hands! The boys love coming to visit their friends three days a week, and they are worn out when they get home, I live by the saying "a tired puppy is a good puppy" and that they are. I am very fortunate to have found Jungle Jim's and would recommend him to everyone. He has kept the boys overnight as well and I was able to go on my business trips w/out a worry. Thanks Jim for taking such good care of my guys!

As a pet owner, finding a service like Jungle Jim's is invaluable. The inconvenience of a kennel was always outweighed by the insecurity of someone in my home caring for my animals. After the initial interview with Jim, all of my trust issues were resolved. He is very professional and has an infectious personality that makes you feel at ease. You walk away knowing your pets and home are going to be well cared for. Who says "we'll even water your flowers and bring in your mail"? I will never use a kennel again as long as Jungle Jim is in business, and by the exponential growth he is having, that will be a very long time.

I was a little apprehensive about leaving my dogs home with a stranger taking care of them because I have 2 dogs who don't get along...and that is putting it mildly. But everything seemed to go smoothly. They followed my instructions about keeping them apart and all 4 dogs were fine when we got home. I loved how we got daily texts and one time pictures of the dogs. He even took out my trash, brought in my mail, and kept the "poop" cleaned up in the yard. Oh, and by the way, his prices are very reasonable!

First and for most I have one word to describe Jungle Jim's ....... FANTASTIC !!!!!! I have never seen someone so compassionate about animals in my life, My husband and I were out of town on vacation and the last thing we had to worry about was our four dogs. Jim and his staff were in daily contact via text and also sent pictures of all the the dogs playing around. It actually made me shed a tear or two. From the second I met Jim I knew he was proffesional and was an avid animal lover as my husband and I. You just don't know the feeling of knowing that your pets are well taken care if while away. It made our vacation so much more relaxing. We always boarded in a kennel and will never do so again. Jungle Jim's offers human contact and love that a kennel just can not accomplish. Our mail was brought in. Flowers watered also plus the dogs got the royal treatment. Jim is a wonderful man and compassionate about his business. His staff likewise. If ever thinking about putting your dogs in a kennel I would honestly think twice. Also his doggy puppy palace and puppy park for doddie day care are off the charts. We bring out dogs once a week now just to be in deluxe accommodations and to interact with other dogs. They gain great social skills with each visit. My husband and I asked Jim if we could check into the puppy palace for the weekend. Lol. The natural surroundings of Jim's house and property are like no other. Lake front in the woods. Horses roaming from Horse Haven on property. There is no better environment for animals. Hats of to you Jim. You have a wonderful one of a kind thing going.

Great experience. My cat Bandit & I couldn't be happier with the service and care we received. Relaxing vacation knowing Bandit was getting such great care. Came home to a very happy cat. Would recommend to anyone. Thanks.

Outstanding home pet care and "more" is what we experienced with Jungle Jim's.. This is the second time we have used this service for an extended period of time.. Once again the three pets received excellent care which is our number one concern when leaving them..The "more" part involves the unexpected. For some reason we had three major malfunctions at our home. Our alarm system malfunctioned going off and on which certainly traumatized the pets, which was followed by the AC going out during 90 degree weather, and finally the roof started leaking on our new wooden floors. Jim contacted us about each event as it happened. He followed through with discussions and calls to service people as they corrected the problems we were having.. We definitely would have had alot more damage if Jim did not go above and beyond. Jungle Jim's Pet Care is truly outstanding and reputable. And its nice to know when "more"goes wrong he handles it with diligence.

Jungle Jim's was convenient to my job in Hermitage, PA so I thought I would check the place out. I met with Jungle Jim a week before I planned to start dropping off our two month old puppy each day in late February. The place is equipped with a puppy proof room called the "Puppy Palace". I just call Jim when I am close to his home and meets me in the driveway. That right, curb service. The place is always clean and odor free. Our pup sleeps all the way home and also sleeps well at night after playing with her pals all day which is great after a hard days work. The service and accommodations are great, but knowing our pet is well cared for during the day is priceless. My wife and I recently had to go out of town to a funeral so Jim offered to keep our puppy and four year old overnight which really took the worry out of traveling. If we lived closer to Hermitage, we wouldn't have any problem having Jim, his staff or lovely wife care for our pets in our home as they are completely trustworthy and true animal lovers which is reflected in our pets behavior towards them. They will even feed your pets, take them for a walk, take in your mail, water your plants or take your pet to Vet appointments. Were just sorry we did discover Jungle Jim's sooner.

great! (woof! woof!). Came to my home while I was out of town for Easter. Dog was happy. Nanny-Cam checked out OK. Trustworthy, Friendly, Professional. Would do business with again.

We recently went out of town on vacation. By the time we called the dog kennel to make a reservation the already had 9 dogs on the waiting list. We called Jungle Jim and were able to leave our dogs home alone while we went out of town. Jim and his staff came by and walked and fed them. When I got home my neighbors said they met a friendly dog walker with my dogs. The dogs were very happy to be able to stay at home and not have to go to a kennel. The dog sitting / dog walking service is fantastic. My dogs got more exercise while I was on vacation than they do while I'm home. Perhaps I should have Jim take me for walks too...sure would be a lot cheaper than a personal trainer. Thanks to Jim and his staff for giving me the freedom to go on vacation and leave my dogs at home.
