The entire staff was more than helpful. The packers even helped my sons load garage items for separate storage. The warehouse staff took excellent care of my furniture and belongings. The office staff was courteous and the movers had no problem re-positioning items or boxes I needed moved.
Lorraine Stanback talks a good game however business ethnic are not established. Items shipped were not wrapped nor secured to the pallets. She doesn't return your calls promptly. When she does she has a sob storey about there was a funeral or a family emergency.

Save yourself a headache and look elsewhere. After not showing up at noon for my move (which was scheduled and paid for at weeks in advance and confirmed by their office 3 times), I had to track down an old friend that used to work there to get in contact with them because they didn't answer the 5 phone calls I made to them. Finally received a call from one of the employees saying that they were on another job and would be a few HOURS late. I'm thinking cool, as long as you all are finished with my move by 7. Shortly after I get a TEXT message from someone named Derek (I presume the manager or owner) saying that they would likely be to my place by 6 PM. I offered to move all of my things myself, minus the large furniture which would make it an easier and shorter move for them, provided that they refund half of my 2 Hour Move. He said no and offered me $40 off instead that the movers would process after the move (seemed shady to me). I decided not to move a thing myself if that was the case. Fast forward, 6 pm rolls around and nothing. The employee called me back to say that they would probably be to me by 8 now and they were at the job still, 3.5 hours away. That math didn't even add up. After waiting around all day I decided to rent a pickup (because Uhaul was sold out all over Houston and Penske was now closed) and moved everything myself. I get a call around 9:30 from a second employee telling me that they were outside of my place. THANKS BUT NO THANKS, I'VE ALREADY MOVED. If the Derek guy is an owner, he should definitely take a customer service class because the improper text exchange was a big no-no to begin with. He seemed unconcerned, unprofessional, and very uncompromising about HIS company's screw up. He never even apologized for the mistake. Now if he is just a manager, the company should definitely consider finding a replacement.

I moved with American Knights Moving and Storage and they are professionals. They know how to treat their customers. I was very happy with the movers they sent for my move. My husband and I are very happy with them. We are both elderly and needed help moving some very heavy furniture. They were helpful and did a wonderful job at making sure nothing got lost or damaged. I just used this fantastic moving company couple of weeks ago for an office move. The way they kept their cool and managed to deal with so many problems and still presented me a timely, damage free and stress free move was simply amazing. They are not the cheapest but they really justified every single penny that they charged. This is the company to hire for a move!!!!
I can't give them a star because they really don't care about your property. We used them to move from Webster to Houston and it took four hours for the truck to arrive. We were told by the owner the truck had broken down enroute, but the guys on the second truck said that the first truck was involved in an accident on I-10. One of the guys on the second truck was holding one of our 55" TV's hostage for a check halfway into the unloading of the truck. We later found out why. It seems that our entertainment center, new Headboard, and a few other things were destroyed in the wreck when the load shifted inside the truck. There website states they are fully insured and don't worry about your things. Now we can't even get the owner to do anything about our damages. He just keeps putting us off and still denies the truck was in an accident. It has been over a month since the move and when I talked to him last he hung up on me. Be very careful choosing who moves your precious belongings. Also, note that if you do have a problem the address they list is bogus.
