I love this nail salon.I started going here a few months ago and I will never go to another nail salon. Kelly is the best. The staff is always friendly and realistic about wait times. They do a fantastic job with my manicures and pedicures and have a great selection of colors. The salon is always clean and prices are always fair. I have referred several of my friends and family to Jade Nails and they have never been disappointed! I would highly recommend Jade Nails to anyone in the Severna Park - Pasadena - Arnold - Glen Burnie- Annapolis - areas. I live in Hanover and have several nail salons by my house and would rather drive to Severna Park to see Kelly and her staff!!! I hope you are impressed with this nail salon as much as I am!

I recently returned after having my nails done for another fill and Pedicure. This will be my last at this salon. First, the technician cut the skin around my toe while doing the pedicure and did not throw away the emery board or other tools even though the toe was bleeding. Second, when they took the nail polish off my fingernails, I noted that I had a fungal infection on 3 of my nails after just having them done there less than 2 weeks ago. I never had fungal infections in the other salon I went to after 2 years. Also, a different technician cut the skin on my finger and put all of the bits and other tools right back in the container without cleaning them (I know I am infection free, but the next client doesn't) I now understand why I was the only customer on a Saturday morning at 10 am.
Saturday October 25th had pedicure/manicure and lip waxingManicurist (Kim) cut out a partial ingrown toenail after I asked her to cut my toenails straight across. Sunday I started having pain and progressively got worse. Thursday October 30th woke up in so much pain; I called in sick and went to the Podiatrists at 9:00Dr. Harmon had to cut out part of my toenail, big toe on left foot, and then kill the root with chemicals. It was very painful.I called Extravagant Nails at 2:00 and spoke with Tammy. Nothing was resolved, and I have an appointment to speak with Tammy on Saturday 11/1st at 12:00Saturday, November 1st I met with tammy at 12:00, she took some notes and said that she had to discuss this with her two partners. She called over Kim, the lady who worked on me and she denied ever cutting any of my nails. I told Tammy and Kim that she was lying and that I had asked her to cut them straight across and instead she quickly cut out my toenail from the nail bed. Tammy then promised to give me an answer by Wednesday, a small child came up to me and poked me with her toy “Don’t touch me”, I said. Tammy then removed the child and walked off to the back room. I did in a loud voice announce, “I will never get services done here again because 4 days following a pedicure I had to have part of my toenail permanently removed”. Wednesday, Nov.5th I called Tammy around 6PM and she referred me to her partner, Mr. Lee. I called Mr. Lee around 7PM, he was very polite, but explained to me that they believed Kim and that she was a good employee and was not allowed to cut ingrown toenails. I explained that I have no reason to lie and that Kim may have lied to save her job. Mr. Lee offered me a refund of the money that I paid for services, $42, that is unacceptable to me. Today I filed a complaint with the Maryland Department of Labor and licensing Cosmetology Board and will file a small claims case. Owners did not believe me and told me to file complaints that they had insurance. I requested a refund of the services, missed pay for the day I had my toenail removed and to be reimbursed for my medical bills, owners refused. Really poor customer service and a painful result from a pedicure.
Came back recently and the store is under NEW MANAGEMENT now. They did a great job, everything the way I wanted it. The place is clean, workers were very friendly and gentle with my pedicure and I got a great message. Btw they took care of me right away and they gave me a coupon for my next visit. I was a very satisfied customer, I will diffidently come back. :):):)
I have been to this place twice but will not be back for a third time.I had no problems on my first visit other than waiting quite a while to be served, but I was a walk in.My second visit, however, was so frustrating that I won't be back. I made an appointment this time to make sure I could keep to my schedule for the day. I was getting a mani/pedi with French tips for a friend's wedding and the rehearsal was that afternoon? I was told my appointment would take an hour including drying time but it ended up taking about two and a half hours. That wasn't the part that really annoyed me though. I discussed at length the style of French tips I wanted with the nail technician (male). I know he understood what I wanted because he described how the pink would go near last and over the white but that the white would show through white. I said that was great because I had the tips done at another place (with the thin line like I wanted) but they used clear and you could see where the white of my real nail started and it looked stupid. He said again that they would use the pink and the thin white line and it would look very natural. He also (for the third time) tried to convince me to get gels instead of regular polish like I requested. I finally gave in and said ok. About this time, the couple that was getting married the next day came in. Apparently they were looking to get manicures before the rehearsal too and my husband told them where I was. They sat down and were helped by another technician. Meanwhile, my guy started doing my nails and it looked like things were going well; the thin white line looked great. He got out the bottle of pink and started trying to get polish out of it. The bottle was obviously completely empty. Without saying anything, he put that bottle down and went and got a bottle of clear. He just painted the rest of my nails with the clear! He never acknowledged that it wasn't what I wanted or what we discussed! I didn't have time to have him redo them with the regular polish and I didn't want to make a scene with the couple getting married there as they were already under a lot of stress. So, I just paid and left. But I will not be back. This place does not have the integrity deserving of my business.
excellent people here! I had the chance to stop by today and actually talk to them. Very passionate about their work and customers. They also offer an extensive selection of nail services.
