If this is a business run by a muslim or muslims, it goes against our deen to apply extensions to other peoples' hair or to our own hair. Here are references: 1. The Ansari women came to the Prophet and mentioned that to him and said, “Her (my daughter’s) husband suggested that I should let her wear false hair.” The Prophet said, “No, (don’t do that) for Allah sends His curses upon such ladies who lengthen their hair artificially.” Related by al-Bukhari. The majority of scholars agree that it is prohibited. 2. Abd Allah said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) cursed the woman who adds some false hair and the woman who asks for it, the woman who tattoos and the woman who asks for it. Sunan Abi Dawud 4168 - Book 35, Hadith 10. May Allah (SWT) guide us and help us with sustenance. Ameen.

I am a customer at PECO Hair Braiding for the past 12 years and each time I go to the shop I always experience a good job an order customers to because I hear them talk about it I love my hair down I will always come to PECO if anyone look for good job come to this shop is the best place thanks and God bless

While I was there getting my hair done, I over heard a lady who came in with two children wanting service. The lady asked Morana would she be able to do all three of their hairs. Morana stated yes; there was one sylist in the shop available and one is out sick. Morana stated that she was going to call her to see if she was feeling better. When Moran called the lady, she was still sick. So, Morana told the lady that the hair stylist was sick but the one that was in shop could start on one of their head. The lady asked was there another customer coming in, Morana stated no. I would say about 30 min after that a customer came in, she said she had a 10:00 appointment. Morana stated that no other stylist was available to microbraids. There was one more person that, she told the cutomer that she didn't know how to do microbraids and the person that was going to do her hair was out sick, "Unless you want to wait", is what she told the customer. Wow, really was my thoughts. And guess what, later on I saw that same person whom she said that didn't know how to do microbraids helping her doing the walkin client head. That's one bad thing I saw, the other one was on me. My hair is done, now it time to pay. I paid the hair stylist one thing and Morana told me it was a higher price. I paid her the price she told me the day before, she stated that it was for the length. I told the stylist if she would have given me that price the day before, I wouldn't have came there. They have very poor customer service there. I only gave them a one star, because my hair looked nice. I will not go there again only for the fear that if I had an appointment, I will not be seen and the price being change. They need an appointment book to honor the customer time and the price given to the customer.

Absolutely not! I would not spend any money at this place. Totally rude and unprofessional. Need to run to customer services classes, fast! Does not have a clue in consulting with possible clients who are researching to perhaps get braids.

I would never recommend no one to go there the people that work there are rude an they charge too much after two days my hair was pulling so bad I have a sore in my head I took it down an my head is swollen an pounding an they refuse to give me a refund.

This place is no longee owned by Gertrude but by someone else. Horrible service I had to cut the braids out of my head because someone dreaded them ! Totally not what I asked
