I just spent $100.00 here to be told by Dr. Cochran to do a self referral at a dermatologist. I have a small, painful, red sore on my chest. ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS to be told to go to a dermatologist! This is medical thievery!! I am self pay and could have saved $100.00 by phoning a dermatologist myself! UNACCEPTABLE PRACTICE!!

I've had excellent care at Mountain Lakes Community Care! The receptionist, nurse and doctor/PA were very nice, knowledgeable and efficient. Everyone was professional, understanding and patient, which is not always the case in other clinics, urgent care facilities, etc. I highly recommend this health care facility...especially if you can't get in to your regular doctor in a timely manner.
I was recently (9/8/15) sent there by my doctor because he was completely booked and I thought I may have broken a bone in my foot. I must admit that I was apprehensive when told to go to a clinic, as I assumed it would be cold and sterile, I would have a long wait, the staff would be harried, etc. Instead, I found a comfortable waiting room, and the desk staff was efficient but pleasant. Considering that there were quite a few people there before me, I only had to wait about a half hour - less that the wait for most of my other medical appointments:) Once in the exam room, it was only a few minutes before I met the doctor. She was VERY friendly and helpful and did not rush me at all. I was pleased with my experience at Mountain Lakes Community Care.
Very rude and unhelpful.
Aside from the super long waits in the waitingroom, and the lack of reminder calls before appointments? My doctor was more interested in shuffling me in and out very quickly. Showed little interest in taking the time to explain anything or answer my questions. And showed even less interest in finding out what was actually causing my health issue. Not a good experience.
This woman is an insensitive, rude psychopath that should not be allowed near children. My 10 yr old daughter has been treated for a chronic stomach condition for 3 years at this office and last week my daughter got stuck seeing beth during a flair up of her condition. She kept interrupting us as we were trying to explain her symptoms and telling us to stop talking. She then jerked down my daughter's pants and tried to pry her legs apart without explaining what she intended or why she wanted to look down there. After the visit, she called dss stating we were agressive towards her, my daughter was dressed prococatively (in long shorts and a baggy tshirt, but did have a little lip gloss on), she suspected sexual abuse because her stomach hurt (until beth assaulted her, there wasnt any) and she suspected illegal drug use, which was not only proved not true but no reason to even think so. She then told my daughter's school there was absolutely nothing wrong with her...except, when i took her to urgent care the next night and listed same symptoms and they did same tests, they found evidence of bacterial infection causing this bout of stomach probs and put her on antibiotics immediately. They also let the school know she WAS sick. Beware of beth dickerson...especially if you have a daughter! She actually LAUGHED when my little girl told her how bad her tummy hurt!
My kids have been going there for about 3 years or so. The office staff is rude(not all of them)and Dr. Ragwar calls my children overweight in their presence. They have self esteem issues because of this. My daughter (16) gained 20lbs over a years time frame and that was a big deal. My son and daughter take medication that causes weight gain. My daughter takes anti-psychotic drugs that cause this. Her psych Dr. says she needs the meds.My kids leave depressed every time. We are looking elsewhere. Stay clear of this place if you value your kids self esteem.
Dr. Booth is the most caring and understanding doctor I've been to see
This is a un-sanitized office. You have to walk through the ''sick'' area to get to check in and all patients use the same restroom. My daughter had to have her eye exam for school. She had to wear the colored glasses and do a couple of tests with it. She woke up the next morning with the pink eye. What are the chances of that. The nurses were very upset and couldn't believe I said she got the pink eye from them because they clean them ''AT THE END OF EVERYDAY'' What happened to AFTER EVERY USE..?
