Blaze, the store manager, has always been courteous and helpful; however, the staff is surly, not service oriented, unhelpful and just plain rude most of the time ... a very poor reflection on Leslie Pools. Used to go there for everything, but not seek out products at other places. Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot and other pool stores offer better options. If you're looking for pool toys, goggles, etc. go to Academy Sports. Very unfortunate for Leslie Pools.
We have a new salt pool and I took our first sample in for a reading. The salesperson made me feel like a total idiot!!!
I brought the sample in a brand new mug that had a tight lid and he laughed and said "did you wash this out before putting the sample in it??" I said of course, and proceeded to explain I needed a cup w/ a lid. Then when he started to test the water I was expaining that the water is tasting a little like salt and my chlorine was low. This was totally opposite of what was suppose to be happening. He told me "You are probably not tasting salt," "people don't taste it in the pool!" I proceeded to tell him "YES I DO" and the other worker told him to check the salt level. He started talking about the Ph level and I felt that he was down talking me until I told him I was very knowledgeable about the scale and how things worked. We have had a cholorine pool before, but not salt. I felt he was not helpful and very rude, Sorry Leslie's you can do better than that!!!! We have done business w/ you for years before we moved. Now this is our "NEW" store? Maybe we will go elsewhere!
I went to Leslie's to purchase pool toys for my grand children's use on Memorial day. The sales person had no other customers in the store and it was difficult to get him to move five feet to get a fish that was out of my reach. He dismissed my concerns about toy safety and and stated that I was a little paranoid about product safety. I felt that I had to defend myself! I spent fifty dollars on toys and left there quite irritated. As with so many stores, customer service is poor.
