UNSANITARY! Went here to get a manicure - all of the tools used on my hands were covered in dust and left over nail particles from the customer before me.Dust is EVERYWHERE Staff is RUDE - I only had my card on me so I had to run to my car to get cash to tip ( they don't accept tips with card payment ) when I came back in to tip the young lady, she grabbed the cash from me - avoided all eye contact and never said thank you. She could've at least pretended to be appreciative of the tip.

I'm stunned reading the previous reviews, frankly. I've had my nails done at Tony's for 6 months running, every 10 days or so, and never once have I witnessed anything to support the negative reviews given here. Quite the contrary in my experience. I've witnessed Tony's as a buzzing hive of business to deadsville with friendly, quick-to-accommodate service each time. I simply cannot imagine Tony or any other staff acting in the manner described-if anything it's the clientele who must bring their tantrum-throwing, screaming, ill-behaved, little rabid animal children with them who unfailingly destroy the atmosphere. Not forgetting the snarky, un mannered young teenage girls expecting to be at the front of the line for their participant's trophy simply because they're there. Civilized behavior, good manners and publicly-acceptable conduct go a long way. On the flip side: I've also seen and appreciated very young girls behaving like true little ladies getting pedicures with their mothers. Charmingly admirable and adorable. I wish there were more as I wish the beastly little savages were left in the care of a baby sitter. Like mother, like daughter, I suppose. As a dedicated powder dip client, I pay ( and tip) quite well for a job well done. Were Tony or his staff anything less I'd never waste the money on the regular. I completely disagree with previous reviews. Decide for yourself. I've received nothing but good service all around from brow waxing to beautiful nails both of which I'm very picky.I wouldn't call Tony's an "upscale" nail salon, just good, practical service and end product worth the expense.Tony's is no dark, dirty den of snarling, bad-tempered providers of bad service in my overall experience. I've never once witnessed anything to support those observations rather, it's the uncivilized conduct of the clientele...just my factual account of personal experience. As always: your mileage may vary.
I never write reviews, ever, but I felt absolutely compelled to let every person that finds this site know how horribly unprofessional this nail salon is. My little sister and I went to get our nails done and Tony told my sister to go pick out a color and that he would do her after he was finished with his current client. After she chose her color, I asked Tony if he could maybe do a little design on her fingernail, at which point he literally yelled at us and said " WHY DO YOU COME IN SO LATE AND ASK FOR SPECIAL REQUESTS WHEN YOU KNOW WE ARE CLOSING AND CANT DO IT". We came in because we saw the open sign and had no clue they were closing but a simple explanation would have been fine. We explained that we didn't know they were closing and that it's ok he he couldn't fit us in we could try somewhere else, he then started to literally shoo us out the door and waved his hands saying "go elsewhere, just go" . I couldn't even believe it. Never have I been treated like this in any establishment. It's a pity nobody in the area takes nail art seriously. It is so hard to find a place to get nails done well, let alone not get berated for a simple mistake. Don't go here, they don't deserve your patronage.
It's always a hit or miss with this place.... I go every time and just get regular gel polish. Sometimes they look really good! It's hard to mess up gel polish on acrylic nails. ive tried to get designs but one time it was $70 and ever since then I've gotten simple polish. First of all, they hit you with weird pricing every time. EVERY TIME it's a different price. Sometimes my acrylic tips (fill) with gel polish is $25, $35, 40, and everywhere in between. I was tired of it, so when I went a couple weeks ago and when I was done, the nails looked fine. I got just gel polish. They're like "it's going to be $40" and I said "$40? You said $10 for gel and it's $27 for acrylic." They proceeded to try to tell me it's $3 to get the gel painted on your nails. How ridiculous... but it's their pricing so I gave them the money and left. I swore I wouldn't go back, being tired of the pricing, but sometimes my nails look really good and it's cheap so I decided to give ONE MORE chance. I went in on Sunday, and I had four nails popped off because it was three weeks since I got them done. They gave me a new guy, who I've never had before (which is fine) and he started to do my nails. He was being very rough, which I understood consideringMy nails were in very rough shape. The one time though, he cut my skin and I moved my finger. He said to me "did that hurt" and I said "yep" and he said "thats too bad." I was done then and there. He hardly cut down my pinky fingers, which I didn't even notice until I left. My pinky fingers were longer than my middle finger nails! I cut them down at home because I'm not going back. Ever. I will make the drive to a better place. Not to mention it's been three days and the gel polish they pressure you into getting because it lasts longer, is flaking off already. All they care about is money, and their tip. I'm an 18 year old girl, so I guess I just look like I won't tip well. Whenever I bring my mom with, they do a great job. so in summary, it's a great place if you can afford to tip them $30 every time you go! Even though the guy did a horrible job on my nails, some nails aren't even the same size and the gel polish is coming off, I still tipped $7 on a $35 job.
This was like the Seinfeld episode. I only wanted a simple manicure, and she told me if I did not get gel polish then it would not last even a day. I kept saying no, and the girl doing my nails got angry with me and told me I was taking out my anger on her, and that I worry too much, I had problems, and no, there are not chemicals used to take off gel, and then she got insulted and said what is the matter with me, don't I trust her? (I had known her for 2 seconds). Secondly: VERY UNSANITARY. AFTER USING THEIR TOOLS ON SOMEONE, THEY RINSED THEM OFF WITH WATER AND USED ON THE NEXT PERSON. I know this because I watched a man do it with my own eyes. It is a petri dish for nail fungus. You only need to walk through once to see how dirty the place is. DON'T WALK, RUN TO ANY OTHER NAIL SALON!
I totally recommend going here! They are super clean and do a fantastic job on nails! I can walk in and less then 15 minutes later they are already starting on my nails!
This salon is not dirty! Actually it is very clean! They even cater to children!! My daughter is four and she loves going to get her nails done too! Cindy is wonderful! Last time I went I had a different girl and she was great too! They even do a great job on eyebrows!! I am an extremely picky person and I never have any complaints when leaving here. My nails are always covered with gel and they are NEVER thick! It is a great placd and very reasonable! Everyone that works here is nice, very professional, and adequately trained!!
I wish I could give less stars. The woman who did my nails stayed on her cell phone for half of my manicure. She filed my right hand rounded and my left square. Then, didn't put on a base coat for my gel polish. When she was done, I noticed when I left that most of my nails weren't strait. I also saw that most of them were missing polish on the edges! I went back after paying and asked if I can get a refund. That's when the woman who did them started gelling at me and refusing. Her manager? said I can get half back or he will fix them. But I had to have the polish removed if I wanted a full refund. Do not go here. They are rude and do terrible work.
I went there twice now and they took 2 hours to do my nails each time! They filed my nails too short to the point where it hurts! I paid $30 for a gel French manicure and two days later it's chipping! These are my graduation nails and I am very upset that they look terrible for such a special occasion. DO NOT GO HERE.
AWESOME!!!! go there. i really dont even know what is wrong with the women who left the terrible reviews. this place is clean, and even when they were really busy i was in and out and left with an AMAZING gel mani. worth the price. clean. fast. dont have anything to complain about.
