I have been going to this cobbler now for 7 years, his work is excellent! He takes great pride in his work and it shows. I have taken dress shoes, boots, and most recently my prized leather Disney jacket ($1,000+ jacket fixed for under $20 and you can't even tell it was fixed). He has fixed straps, zippers, heels, sown tears, stretched, reglued, and resoaled items for me. Every time the charge for service is LESS than I was expecting and willing to pay for. I give his name and number to all my friends and co-workers. I was given his name and number by a co-worker and every time I use his services I thank her for giving me his information (she had been using this cobbler since it was his father doing the work). A bit of a personality "warning", his is very blunt, so if he feels that he cannot do quality work on your item, he will tell you so. He will also tell you what you are doing wrong that caused the issue (many people do not like to hear that the issue with their shoes is because they take them off wrong or aren't taking care of them correctly. He will also tell you if the shoes are substandard and can't be fixed). Also, in regards to what the other person commented below, he does promote American made items. Ask him why sometimes, he is ex-US Army and has pride in the USA and promotes keeping Americans employed by buying American. Don't let that stop you from using this cobbler, I have gone to many other cobblers before and this place is by far the most reasonable and best quality of work I have encountered.
