As a young business owner and ex-auto dealer, who has purchased over 55 cars in 18 years, with a average of 50000 driving miles a year, I have seen and heard almost everything. It was nice to get a call form David Bagby in regards to the Taurus SHO, I built online @ 2am in the morning. What's interesting is, I didn't expect to hear form anyone until Monday, but today is Saturday. I explained to him that I have very high expectations of after the sale services and the reason for this is do to the fact I own very high end car such as the Audi A8L and the a Lexus LS460 and these car dealer have raised the bar for every other car dealer when it come to service. Grant it the SHO isn't a 65,000.00 Audi A8L but it is a suggested retail of $43,000 when I finish the spec. further more I'm spending my money. Years back I bought a car from Tommy Vaughn Ford and I had no problem with them at all. I called about a coolant leak I had one Monday and schedule to bring the car in later that day, which I did. Tuesday I got a call and the service adviser gave me the information as to what the technician had found (grant it he had no idea I was a Automotive Tech also) and I had already checked to see what was leaking. However he told me the lower radiator hose was bad and they would replace both upper and lower hoses and the thermostat as well a flush the coolant system as preventative maintenance. Car a getting more expensive and the service,experience and environment should be invigorating as spending $60,000.00 on a F350 or $40,000.00 on a Taurus. In order to understand what price you might expect to pay for your next car, you must first understand how new car pricing really works. Combined, these prices become the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). These prices can change from year to year for the same models, or can even change one or more times during a model year. The price shown on the vehicle's attached window sticker. There will also be additional charges for transport and preparation ("destination charge"), and distributor/dealer installed options. These charges are not technically part of the MSRP, but are part of what you pay. I am woman who is fairly new to the area. My AC quit working on my car and I had been nervous to take it somewhere because I have had experiences in the past where mechanics have been dishonest. I took it to one place that looked at my car for 5 minutes and told me I needed to replace my whole electrical system/dash/climate control... and to take it to the dealer. Then another place said to replace the compressor (I knew it wasn't that because it would work sometimes and I'd hear it kick on.) I came home a bit frustrated and decided took look online to see if I could find a place with great reviews. I looked online and found Alamo AC... I noticed they had several wonderful reviews on several websites. Not one person had a bad thing to say to about this place. I had to drive about 25-30 minutes to get there, but it was worth it! Aggie was very nice the entire time and didn't make me feel uneasy because I was a woman in a garage. He explained what needed to be fixed and completed it while I was at work. I am impressed that he charged literally one-tenth of what others were telling me. This is an honest and reliable place! I brought my car in for a recall, my wait was from 2:45 p.m. - 5:45 p.m., but I didn't mind the wait because everyone was very professional, caring and kind. Even Mr. Beck stopped by the waiting area to see if we (the customers) had been helped and were alright. Although we weren't formally introduced, I knew it was him, because he was dressed different from the other employees and his demeanor was that of a Boss. It is very rare that you attend a business and the Owner will stop his/her busy schedule and come by the waiting room to say hello. This makes customers feel more comfortable. This dealership has got several additives to make you feel at home, i.e., fresh coffee, water (ice cold in individual bottles) and fresh baked cookies. There was another time that I was there and they had customer appreciation with Bar-B-Que and sides to go with it and as the customers entered into the dealership, they were told to go to the conference room and help themselves. I been to other appreciation benefits and by the time the employees finished, there was nothing for the customers. There has only been one other car dealer that I've visited in pass years, that I had this much confidence in and it is gone out of business.
Over time I have purchased several new vehicles. Recently I purchased my first Mercedes Benz. I work in a service oriented environment. I always strive to give excellent service. I also expect great service but am disappointed at times. I went to another local dealership to test drive different models. I can't say they acted like they were interested in me purchasing from them. The sales rep was constantly answering calls during the two test drives. He even said he might have to assist another client and I would have to wait. (I had a scheduled appt with him). My boyfriend advised me to go where he purchases all of his vehicles. I went out of my way in 1 hour traffic to Mercedes North. It was by far the BEST experience I've ever had. Totally worth it. My sales guy Jaja Anele and his partner Vernon Gatlin were fantastic. I have never seen such team work. They are true gentleman. They treated me like royalty. From the beginning to end and all the way around. I will make the drive and refer everyone I know that is in the market for a car to them. Donald Cyprian made the dreadful paperwork smooth and effortless. I give them 100+!!!!
First, they were one of the Chrysler/Jeep Dealers scheduled to be closed. Chrysler's problems are well-documented, and this was not the fault of a long-respected dealership. They became a Pontiac/GMC Dealer, and Pontiac was abolished by the takeover of Government Motors. Not their fault, either. At this singular point in time, they carry some of the best SUV's and Trucks anywhere (check out Stabilitrak and OnStar) and the new GMC Terrain is comparable or better by virtually any measure compared to say, the Nissan Murano, which is almost identical in every measurement. For styling, you have to decide for yourself, but for many people it has a more muscular look and it sure beats Murano on standard features and price. Additionally, they have a great Pre-Owned Department with a good selection of vehicles, and even more available to them from their other dealerships. The salesperson I worked with was friendly and worked hard to help fit my selection into my budget. I would recommend them for your 'short list' when you are shopping for any vehicle.
I found this business through their Google place page because of their reviews. My husband was researching a navigation system and a rear seat entertainment package for the kids. Our salesperson, A.J was able to cut us a great deal on a pioneer navigation stereo with alot of extra perks we did not expect like Bluetooth hands free calling AND audio streaming, HD radio and dual-zone for the rear-seat screen. They lost one star because A.J quoted me an install time of 3 hours and i waited nearly six hours. They gave me some explanation about the radio bypass and how hard it is but my day that was planned got pushed back so i did not want to hear it. Still, the service was superb, the installation was clean, the price was very fair and he even demonstrated how everything worked and paired my phone to the stereo and walked me through all the features i paid for. If i told my best friend about this place, I'd say they took good care of me, my budget and my truck, but i will definitely drop off my vehicle next time to avoid delays.
A lot of the guys from my school go to Texas Car Stereo.. and they all said it was pretty good. So on my way to the store me and my friend actually got in a little crash. But there was only damage to my front bumper, none to the other guys truck. Once i made it to the store i showed the manager what i just did to my bumper, and he said they could order one and replace it, which they did! They didn t even make me pay for it until they had it all done, which was really good for me. I had originally gone there to get some new tires because mine were blad, and i got some new ones for not much! And i got window tinting to, the viper one which is like life time warranty so it was worth the couple extra bucks and its nicer too! The sales guy Alex helped me out because i didnt know what i was looking for at all.. They were all really nice, the dropped me off at west oaks mall and picking me and my friend back up when they finished!! Seriously best first experience at a car store. And they had so much stuff!
AWESOME A/C repair shop with GREAT prices and EXCELLENT custom A/C work! Took my 1998 Nissan 240sx by their shop to get A/C work done. Background: My 240sx is highly modified, and it has a newer japanese only motor in it. Unfortunately the A/C lines did not match up with my current A/C condenser at all. I took it by one morning and the main mechanic took a look at it and told me he could do it by making me a custom line, but that I should bring it back the next morning because they were extremely busy. I brought it back, and he took such great care of the car (he covered my racing seat and fenders so that it wouldn't get dirty), I was also extremely happy with how well and factory looking the custom A/C lines looked! He also stuck very close to his price estimate, and I now have great COLD A/C in my car! I couldn't be happier and would recommend Alamo Auto Air to ANYONE that needs general or even custom A/C work done on their car. I WILL be back with more business for you guys, and thanks!
All my friends told me to go here and on my way to the store i actually got in a little crash.. there was only damage to my car though. That was very helpful for me. Okay, but i had originally went there to fix my CD player. The had ruben fix it and it worked brand new! The people there were very nice and helpful. The sales guy Alex helped me pick out a car alarm that was in my price range, and i got the viper window tinting it has a lifetime warranty so i thought that it was worth the extra couple bucks there . I dropped my car off so i wasn't waiting there. They called me when it was ready! And it wasnt expensive at all! i went with some money and i still have some money! That made me kinda iffy though but everything turned out great for me! Thanks yall!
