About three weeks ago I was involved in a collision that left my car unable to be driven. I was in Houston for the weekend, but I live in Austin. Luckily my car was covered under the manufacturer's warranty which included free towing. Upon arrival the tow truck driver recommended Expro Auto Collision and stated that I would be able to get a rental immediately. Since I had other business in Houston that required a vehicle, I decided to go with the recommendation.Upon arrival I was introduced to Sal, one of the managers, who assured me that I could in fact drive off in a rental later that day. Sal was very helpful and understanding of the situation as I was a bit panicked and scatterbrained at the moment. My last car accident was over 6 years ago and it was a horrifying accident that resulted in three cars being totaled out. Consequently I was definitely shell-shocked. Sal was extremely helpful in walking me through the claim process with my insurance company and I did in fact drive off in a rental.I had to return t Austin because I am a graduate student there, and throughout the entire process, Sal kept me updated on the status of my car. I was able to pick it up yesterday and it looks brand new. I drive a manual Mustang that has unique over the top stripes that are a dealer exclusive. My car had been previously dinged in a hit and run incident in a parking lot so there was surface damage on my rear bumper. They were able to fix this as well as an extremely reasonable cost compared to the estimates I had received from other shops. The also maintained the integrity of my stripes which extend to the lower rear bumper. In addition Mustangs have custom cores for their tires and my car had distinctive rims as well. Everything was replaced to look completely new and my car is as gorgeous as it was when I bought it. Overall I couldn't be happier with the service I received. I appreciated how the shop handled everything with the insurance company. I was even picked up from the bus stop by someone from the shop which is definitely above and beyond regular service. Throughout the entire process Sal kept me updated and even dealt with spam calling from my mom. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone. My car was freshly washed when I picked it up which is something NONE of the Ford Dealerships in the Houston area have done for me regardless of how long they've kept my car. Definitely the best experience I could have hoped for given the circumstances!
I own a 2010 BMW That I bought new and have always taken my car to the BMW dealer. Well my warranty was up and I had to pay $2600 in October for a repair. At the time I had this done, I knew I would need my brakes repaired soon. Of course, the dealer had given me a quote on future repair work and for the brakes it was $1200!! Well November rolls around and I had to get my brakes done (first time to replace them so they lasted a long time). Well after spending $2600 just last month, I was dreading spending $1200!! Thought about taking my car to Eurocarcare but the reviews were not good! So I called a friend and asked her who did her repairs on her old BMW (she had recently bought a new BMW). She referred me to Edward Morales at Little Shop of Motors. I called Edward on Wednesday, November 9th and he quoted me 1/2 of what the dealership had quoted me!! Not only that, he said the repair would be 2-3 hrs and I could wait for my car. So, I made an appointment for Thursday. Well, I got off early and called Edward back to see if by chance I could bring it by this afternoon rather than the next day. He told me sure, he could do it and have me out in a few hours. Made my way there and arrived about 2:30. I was welcomed when I arrived and the waiting area and shop area was clean. I had a nice cup of Keurig coffee and cookies. I watched movies and the BEST part was the massage chair he has in the waiting area!! OMG!! I felt like I had a personal masseuse at my disposal!! Before I knew it, my car was ready!!!! I was on my way out the door @ 5:30. They did a full inspection (I needed wipers), topped off all fluids and washed my vehicle just like the dealership!! I am super grateful to my friend for referring me. Just wish I had asked her last month when I spent $2600!!! Nevertheless, Edward will be doing all future repairs on my vehicle!!
My brand new car is currently with Joe at Royal Collision. The entire right side needs repair and re-paint. Right from the start, dealing with Joe has been a pleasure. I explained to him the situation and what was wrong with the car and he said bring it in. First thing he did was take me into the shop to show me the work that he does. There were Ferrari’s, Lamborghini’s, you name it, back there! He showed me a few almost finished cars and told me what damage they fixed…You would have thought it came right off the dealer lot!Joe is extremely nice and professional. Insurance companies suck, and he knows that, so he deals with them for you. He found some damage to the quarter panel that the insurance estimator did not include in the original estimate. He called and told me he will submit a supplement so that he can get the job done right. I have not even seen my car yet, but I know it will be 100% right. If you have dealt with shops around the area, you know they may not always keep you in the loop. Joe will, like I said, he already called me to tell me he is submitting a supplement.Joe runs a fantastic shop and I am excited to get my car back good as new!!!Royal Collision may not be on your Insurance’s select service shop list, but that doesn’t matter. Insurance will try to tell you that you should take it to one of their shops because if you have any issues with the work done, they will help. HA! Yeah they will help after you spend weeks trying to get someone to agree with you. Well guess what, you won’t have a need to do any of that if you go to Royal Collision!Go to Royal Collision even if you live far away...It will be worth your while!I will be updating this review when I get my car back, but like I said earlier, I know it will be right and that’s all that matters!
I got involved in a fender bender. I was going to have my car fixed at the dealership where I brought my car, but i was referred to Harris County Body Shop for repairs from Geico. When I arrived, I met the manager Mr. Dan outside working. This is the manager of the shop working! I was greeted by Petra. She really helped me to the point that I knew exactly what I was getting done in a matter of minutes. She even went through a review of all items a person may need from their old car when they are getting a rental. She reminded me several times about my clicker that i needed to get into my home. I didn't forget it. Diane and Diana really were sweet women who knew what they were doing and they made me feel at home. Gilbert really took the cake! He was outside helping me with my car. He was on call to answer all of my questions and He made me feel like that I was his only body shop customer. Robert from Enterprise went and found me a Jeep instead of the small compact car. Erica was really helpful in handling my information. This whole shop needs to be commended on the professionalism, the attention to detail and most of all the crisis management. It's easy to render good customer service when all is well. My weather strip on my door needs to be readjusted. I called and talked to Petra yesterday and she said to bring my car in with the warranty and they will take care of it no problems. I feel like I've known these people all my life. I don't want to have another accident, but if anyone has an accident and they need body work I will definitely refer them to Harris County Body Shop.
My wife's Mercedes GL got rear-ended three weeks ago on the 610 and it got towed to this storage lot. I was considering to have it be fixed at the bodyshop near our house that is linked to the Mercedes dealer but discussed it with the insurance company's adjuster and the Allied Collision Center manager and felt that with their access to genuine Mercedes parts and training they could do a good job and faster with enough safeguards in place in case something went wrong (e.g. I hold on to the insurance check until the end). The Collision Center manager said he would fix it in 10 days and find some more damages than the insurance adjuster found originally. This is exactly what happened. They did a great job, found some more damages that they resolved directly with the insurance company and I got to pick my car up 10 days later looking as new. Upon inspection I did find a scratch in the back that they offered to take care of themselves as well. I appreciate the business model lends itsef to people being upset when they want to take their car elsewhere or when insurance companies deny liability and don't pay but my experience with Allied Collision was simply very professional and good. They did a good job and were honest throughout.
The morning of Oct 5, 2016 I called Mobile Mechanic at 713-465-7300. I explained to the very polite Dispatcherthat 2 very tiny kittens were trapped under the hood of myhusband's car & we didn't want to injure them by starting the engine. I was reassured by the Dispatcher that one of theirmechanics had dealt with a similar kitten situation previouslyand the successful rescue had been featured on localHouston TV news. I was told a mechanic would be sent immediately and in less than 30 mins the Mechanic Donald Ray Lane arrived. He immediately assessed the situationto determine the best plan to remove/rescue the kittens without damaging them or the vehicle. This was definitely not an easy or quick-fix job! Ray worked tirelessly andpatiently for nearly 4 Hours to successfully rescue the veryelusive kittens. Ray did not give up and persevered in spiteof the repeated challenges presented by the frightenedkittens and the complex engine accessibility.Ray did an amazing job and he never lost his cool or displayed any frustration--he was a perfect gentlemanat all times! Ray is a real credit to his profession and represents customer service at its absolute best!!!THANK YOU RAY,
I would like to commend ICU Firestone Automotive on the quality work and excellent service I recieved here. I came in and had no idea what was wrong with my vehicle. It would not start. I had previously been to ICU for oil changes and other service and recieved professional service before. Mr. Bakir, the manager, walked me through every step of the diagnostic to find out exactly what was wrong with my car. As a young woman who knows nothing of car repair, I have fallen victim to unscrupulous repair shops. At ICU Firestone, I recieved professional, courteous service. They work fast and are very thorough in finding the problem. I had a crankshaft positioning sensor replaced and an engine mount replaced. They also found an electrical issue with my car and gave me the most economical price for the part that was needed. I was loaned a vehicle overnight and my car was ready the next day. I appreciate the high level of service that I recieved here. Oh I forgot to mention that the customer lounge is very comfortable with a great bathroom! I would recommend without reservation, patronizing ICU Firestone Automotive Center for the best car care!
I replaced the clutch on my car in another store and when I picked the car up the Check Engine light was on. They lied to me and told me the Check Engine Light came on before they did any work on the car, but they told me not to worry as they checked the O2 sensors and they were ok. They said that the light would magically go away after driving it for a while. The engine light not only didn't go away, but stalled on me 3 times, it was idling rough, felt like it was choking, so I took it back. After 2 days, they gave up on me and told me the computer is bad because it thought the O2 sensors were bad. Took the car and brought it to Sal's. 30 minutes after I dropped it off, he called me and said to me "Whoever replaced your clutch, did a lousy job. When they put the transmission in, they accidentally cut the O2 sensor wires and instead of replacing them, they tried to clap them back together". My circumstances were that I needed the car to be fixed as soon as possible as I was shipping it overseas the next day. One day later at 8 AM, I got a called saying "Your car is ready".Wish I had known Sal's before.
I just read the review made by the man who called him self a christian and I must say that I don't believe a word he said or wrote about this shop. Cliff and his wonderful wife are the kind of people who deserve the utmost respect, and they have certainly earned my respect and they have also earned my trust to work and repair my vehicles. I know of one person (a customer of Cliff) that drives all the way from the Galleria area just so Cliff can work on his car; and infact, I know that this person's mother in-law will not allow any one to diagnose, work or not even touch her vehicle except for Cliff. It is a shame that some people use religion to gain sympathy or advantage; this man sounds like he needs peace with in. Maybe one day when his vehicle leaves him stranded, he will then realize that he should have more trust in people rather than prejudge them and lash out at them like the way he did.By the way, I am also a foreign born and I am also an American citizen, which I am very proud to be. And despite the fact that I have an accent; it has never made a deference for me.
I'm gonna start off by saying I AM so glad to have randomly found this body shop, after those Maaco crooks tried to rip me off with 2 different estimates, not knowing it was me the second time. As soon as I stepped in to Finest Auto Body, I was warmly greeted and taken care of, with the utmost courtesy and professionalism. I have never been treated with such graciousness at any body shops. The guy who I believe is the owner, Emilio aka Emigdio, was the most professional guy I have ever come across, his answers to your questions are always on point and you can tell he wants your business, not your money. I ended up dropping off my mirror to get it PAINTED, then stopped by the next day to get it installed, all in all at a very REASONABLE price, a LOT CHEAPER than those Maaco crooks quoted me. I highly recommend this body shop, they will have my business from now on and I will make sure to spread the word, most professional and polite guys I have ever seen. OUTSTANDING!! 10 STARS
