Many of the dresses had snags or the zippers would catch on everything. The employees were very rude. One of them yelled at my mom for standing a foot behind an imaginary line that apparently you're not supposed to cross. The dressing room curtains don't close the whole way so everyone can watch you try your dress on. I was not impressed.
At Wedding Jewelry store, we don't have to sacrifice our fashion, superiority or budget and also we get the free shipping. We so surprised for those wedding jewelry we seen because Price is reasonable and quality is wonderful. Finally we get and see the Hallmark symbol in all jewelries.
I am very sorry that so many of you had a bad experience with this company. Me personally i never had a problem. I can not speak for anyone as to why people would be rude to costumers to me that's not exceptable in this line of work facts are we need you to survive without our costumers we have no business. Again i can not speak for anyone but myself and im only interviewing to possibly work there. I assure you if i am hired i will make sure my costumers are treated with the respect they deserve.
For my 10th and 11th grade prom, I received my 2 dresses here. And they were amazing! It was super busy, and there wasn't much help the second year. But that was because we went at the last minute... So it was crazy in there. I am not 22 and getting married in 9 months, and I plan on going there on a Thursday in January. So it wont be as busy and I can receive the proper service. I hope that I can find a wedding dress that I like, and that way I can gather the money to get it.
This will be the second dress we have purchased with Group USA. The first dress was no problem...fit great and was a good dress. This second dress is beautiful but my biggest problem with the store is how they pose their ordering and practices. If you ask to have a dress "ordered" they will tell you yes, it will take 2-3 weeks....The huge problem with this is that they are NOT ordering from the manufacturer of the dresses. All they are doing is having one from another store shipped local. All of their dresses including their wedding gowns are off the rack. To me this is deceitful. Do not expect to be able to order a fresh brand new dress that has not been tried on 100 times by 100 different people.
This is the second dress our family has ordered online for a prom (the other was from a different website). All the misgivings and concerns I had with ordering online were proven false with the previous dress and proven true with this dress from Camille LaVie. Please let me say that one of my daughters bought a formal dress from a Camille LaVie store two years ago and was happy with the quality and fit. This time around we saw the "Illusion Back Halter Dress" in a local boutique store two sizes larger than what my daughter would wear; however, she still got an idea of how it would fit and the quality of the dress. We ordered it online since there are no Camille LaVie stores within five hours of our home, and the dress was $75 cheaper with Camille LaVie compared with the boutique shop. Now I am wondering if it is actually the same dress. First, the dress was back ordered, originally to be available in February and then March. When I called to ask when exactly in March the dress would be available I was told they don't know, just sometime in March. I was concerned about the time frame because I was fairly certain this dress was going to require hemming. When the dress arrived the bust area was wrinkled and the cups were very noticeable because the fabric was thin and the cups did not cover the bust area, which ruined the pretty detailing of that part of the dress. When we took the dress to our local seamstress for hemming I asked if she thought the bust area would look better after steaming. She said steam would not get the wrinkles out as the problem was the seams being too wide and not cleanly stitched right in the middle of the bust. This is not apparent in the photo online, if indeed the online dress is sewn in the same way. The seamstress suggested replacing the cups and trimming the seams to minimize that unattractive, eye-catching detail. When it came to hemming we looked at the picture of the dress compared to the actual dress and realized that in the picture the three layers of fabric are all tapered at the same angle. The dress we received had only the top layer tapered, with the two layers underneath cut straight with no angling, which means that the "high/low" effect doesn't show with this dress. The carelessness with these small details really spoils what could be a stylish and elegant dress. In order to make it wearable we are going to need to spend a considerable amount of money. What makes this even more maddening is Camille LaVie's "no return" policy, where they only allow for size exchanges, no returns. So what is a customer to do with a dress that is misrepresented in the pictures online??? No returns??? The only thing I know for sure about this online store is that they just lost a customer.
WOW ... from what i hear about this place it seems like who ever is the dumb one that is running it ... they should have fired and hired new people several reviews ago ... hmmm maybe the bad service is coming from the owner which would mean depending on what mood they are in that day .. they really dont give a .. what kind of service the customers get ... they should get into a dif business or fire and hire some new people .. i will not be trying this place out .. thats for sure .. haha sheesh !!!
I purchased a Camille LaVie dress at Grapevine mall. I have now decided that it is too short &amp; I would like to find the black sequin fabric &amp; lengthen the shirt. The dress I am talking about is a Black Short/Long Sequin dress with a peplum train attached. The numbers on the tag are as followed: 330 3660 0006, 20047, 153010/BLK, Su-002391464_Z (can'y read second to last letter), SEQ SHT/LONG, Color BLK, Size 16, bar code # 400023914641. Is there any way you could put me in touch with someone that would have the same black sequin fabric, that I might be able to purchase fabric to lenghten the skirt. I want to wear it for my daughters wedding June 4, 2011, but feel now it is too short for a mother of the bride to be wearing. Any help would greatly be appreciated. I LOVE the dress and really want to wear it but, it just needs to be longer. Thank you, teareed04

I picked out a dress in Grapevine location and wanted to buy it in Philadelphia where the wedding was this past weekend. I made an appointment a month in advance and really wanted my mother (who was coming to Maryland from Texas to visit me) to see it. I walked in expected to try on a dress and purchase it. When I walked into the Philadelphia store, I wasn’t greeted and had to find an employee. She asked me who I had an appointment with and I told her I didn’t know. They took all the information at my previous appointment and that they had the information. I found my dress on the rack in Ivory instead of white and showed it to the sales person. She came back with the book and the worksheet and said yes that is the dress. I had to ask her to try it on.
This is where the problems started. They didn’t have the right skirt size 4 and only had size 20. I had to ask for a manager in order for her to go back and check for the skirt. The manger wouldn’t even come out to talk to us. She said that the manager was busy and couldn’t talk to us. How am I supposed to try on a wedding dress without the proper items like a skirt? It is an essential item that should have been ready for me (especially since I wanted to purchase a dress). They didn’t have anything. The dress didn’t fit right this time, because last time I had a corset and this time they had a 36C and called it a standard.. I am sorry but skirt size 20 and 36C bra cup size is not a standard! Especially if you carry standard sizes dresses like 2-20.
The manager was really rude and said that I had to pay for the dress if they order it and couldn’t hold it. I am thinking of looking elsewhere…
I walked in with 6 of my 8 bridesmaids by appointment. They were rude and not helpful. Although they did have a pretty good selection of bridesmaid dresses. One of the women were nice and helpful but the other one who we think was her boss, because she almost seemed afraid of her was very rude to us.
