it was the most disrespectful, inappropriate experience I have probably ever had at a pharmacy. The pharmacist and staff was bothered by the fact that I came in so close to closing time. They took my prescription, griped to each other like I wasn't standing right there about how close it was to closing. I was so upset I was shaking they were being flat out mean. Finally they flat out turned me away. It took me everything to not freak out on them

They care!!

I had an issue with an eye ointment prescribed to me. I had been to two separate pharmacies who after 10-15 minutes told me they did not have it on hand, they could order it and assured me they could have it the VERY next day. I could not wait as it was to be used that same night. Even though it was not a covered pharmacy, or so I thought, I took the prescription to Heartland Pharmacy praying that they would have this medicine on the shelf. The pharmacist came out to talk to me. The pharmacist "Red" said that the medicine is not even available as the prescription was written and offered to contact the Doctor to see exactly what was needed, which he did immediately. I was able to get another ointment, which would serve the same purpose within a few minutes. Now I wonder what would have happened the NEXT day had I allowed them to 'order' the drug and wait. I know, they would have said "I'm sorry about this BUT ......... The topping on the cake was, Heartland Pharmacy IS a covered pharmacy!!!!! So all of you who have insurance, even if it does not show Heartland Pharmacy as a covered pharmacy CALL Heartland and ask them!!!! I will now use them as my primary drug store!

When I first walked into Heartland pharmacy I was unsured if it was the right thing to do, I have been using the services of a multi national pharmacy (CVS/Wallgreens), I wanted to try a more personalized family oriented pharmacy due to been diagnosted with R-cancer. This week was my second visit to Heartland, I am so pleased that I made the choice of walking in a month ago, words cannot express my gratitude to Kristopher V. Lee (my pharmacist), not only he went out of his way to assist me in going about the right way to fullfill my share cost with medicaid so my prescription meds were covered, but his caring attention also made me feel welcome into town (I have just moved from the fast paced life of Miami into Springlake) everything around is new, in my condition the less things I have to worry about is the fastest and the more opportunities I give myself to heal, Kris has giveng us (me and my family) peace of mind when it comes to prescriptions meds, nevertheless I have not updated my drivers' license indicating that I am a resident of Springlake, Kris assisted me in getting my meds on time. As humans we tend to only remember the ugly insidents, but I refuse to take his (Kristopher V. Lee) caring and warm assistance for granted, KUDOS to Kris and his colleagues in the pharmacy/presription area. If looking for a pharmacy or better said a pharmacist that cares about his customers/patients, I highly recommend Kris, I hope he remains in Heartland for many years to come, but if he was to make a move I will surely hope it is within the Highlands' area as I and my family will definitly follow him as customers. Love this place. One of the last locally owned pharmacies that has that great touch of service. For me it is a much better fit than going to the big pharmacies with no service at all. This place is awesome, Family run and they treat me like family and not an inconvenience. I can't recommend Heartland enough.

When I used this Pharmacy whic...

When I used this Pharmacy which is about 1600 ft. large, the pharmacist/ tech Dara yelled out my name and the names of my prescriptions 3 times as I sat 15 paces away next to other customers. When I complained about this and advised the techs/ pharmacists in a polite mannor about HIPAA LAW, the head Pharmacist Kristopher V. Le agressively ordered me to go to another pharmacy because he would not have a customer threatening his pharmacists/techs. I did not say anything in a threatening mannor, I thought I was being kind to make them aware of what they were doing without taking action; I was wrong, apparently if action is not taken then they will accuse people of making threats. I don't threaten people and I do not appreciate being accused of it!

They enjoy embarrassing their customers and have no consideration for others, ethics, or morals. Dara smiled at me in a maliciously sick way as she was happy that I was being denied service. Dara seems psychoticly pleased that she had once again embarrassed a customer, staring at me and smiling after I had been agressively confronted by Kristopher V. Le whom told me he can do whatever he wants when it comes to the violating the privacy of his customers. This is a horrible pharmacy with service workers who exhibit aweful masochistic personalities. I can't imagine what they may be doing with their files of customers, but I am sure it does not constitute HIPAA privacy law since they have no regard for that.
