This is the place my granddaughter goes, year-round. She is in her second year before kindergarten next year. The staff is personable and well-prepared to work with the children. The facility large and well -equipped. I have visited the classrooms and the large playground. An excellent choice for your pre-schoolers.

My three grandchildren went here, sadly these people are sick! Crule, abusive, liar's and thieves!! My daughter pulled them out for several reasons I can't mention them all at this time ,except my two run ins , I was picking up the children and I over heard the older dark skin female talking on the phone in horrible ways about parents, using foul language and kids were all over unsupervised and could hear her very immature " that B.... Better pay me my money " and much worse. That was their last day!bUnfortunately it was not our last run in she drops off kids at rox hill elementary, my grandson had holes in his knees I notice while picking him up after school one day, and walking holding his hip?Iask what happened hunny? He stated miss Jones is always triping me and pushing me into the flag pole! I looked at his knees and woe!! When? He said every morning and every day after school! I followed her around with my cell camera!!! And reported her before I lost my freedom.sick animals.
Love the Service and Professionalism
This daycare was wonderful at first. But after a while, my child just did not want to go. She would scream at the top of her lungs, hold on to me with a death grip, and she never did that before. I thought maybe it was a phase, but it went on for months. Her dad and I knew in our hearts something was wrong there, so we took her out and placed her in a new facility. She never cries and loves it there. This confirmed for us that something wasn't right, and now that I see them on the news being investigated for child abuse and neglect, I'm positive it was that place. Now I'm stuck wondering what the heck was going on there? I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
Bearchell, how did your case go?

No grade school is perfect, nor is it entirely bad. Most have pluses and minuses. The key is to find a school for your child strong in areas that matter to you and with core values that resonate with your own. There are many independent schools in the Seattle area where a child can get an excellent education. Focus instead on whether the culture and atmosphere at a particular school are the ones you want determining your child’s moral growth and development. To that end, parents considering UCDS should read carefully the following releases from the United States Department of Justice and the Washington State Department of Early Learning regarding investigations conducted during the 2013-14 school year. Both investigations detail a concerning disregard for equity and justice by the current administrative leadership at UCDS. The behavior described is discordant with the school’s self-described values and with those of its accrediting organizations, the NWAIS and the NAIS.http://www.slideshare.net/jasoncpollard/del-decision-on-ucds-discrimination-complainthttp://www.slideshare.net/jasoncpollard/del-response-to-ucds-appeal-1http://www.slideshare.net/jasoncpollard/del-response-to-ucds-appeal-2http://www.slideshare.net/jasoncpollard/usdoj-closing-letter-ucds-discrimination
My child was taken on field trips without a car seat (and the director lied to me about it) My children were left outside for hours in the sun without water or sunscreen in which they got sick each time. On field trips my son did not receive lunch, and was just given goldfish snacks. The majority of the "staff" were under 18 years of age. I am in the process of reporting this establishment so be warned.
