Worth going downtown for

Craving a good chowder--- this is THE place to go! Take all our guests here. Selection is great, prices are moderate, and the crowded atmosphere just adds to the fun!

Best Chowder in Seattle

Hands down the best chowder in the city! They've won umpteen awards since the early 90's, even pulling down some national awards on the east coast - The Rhode Island National Championship or something like that. Great stuff. Never tried their crab sandwiches, but lunch at Pike Place Chowder in Downtown Seattle or at the PIke Place Market is definitely well worth it. Actually, lunch or early dinner (closes at 5pm I think - the one in downtown is open later).

Best Chowder in the City

Most would agree - best chowder in the city - won all sorts of city wide and national awards. Thee Chowder in Seattle. Great sandwiches, salads, and you can even grab a beer. Gotta love Pike Place Chowder....
