The people are friendly and have great recommendations about the grooming. They're also flexible and accommodate my requests for a slighlty unconventional poodle cut which I appreciate. Best of all - I don't have to wait 3 weeks to get a dang appointment. Lots of time I can take her the same day.

The owner is always cheerful and has great suggestions on grooming choices. My dogs are yappy and nippy when they're around strangers, but behaves when here. Knowing that they trust their groomer is really reassuring! The prices are competitive, the establishment is clean and well ventilated, and my dogs always come back looking and smelling great!!
Also, I'm surprised to read the negative comment below. I've been going here for a few years and have had no incidents.

This place seems to have been recently renovated. the outside and inside look much nicer than before, and staff are still friendly, experienced, and know their dogs. Although the main guy seems a little elderly, he definitely knows what he's doing. I'm surprised that a customer's dog has been ""bitten by another dog"".... Do you have proof? This man is experienced, i've known him for many years, and i've never heard of anything like that... anyway, i encourage you to give this shop a try. It seems that those who post comments/ratings on anything are those who have some kind of ""strong"" feeling towards the service... I feel like I've bumped into a political blog. Good luck next time to those who did not enjoy la coupe's good service.

Don't ever take your dogs here. In spite of seeing reviews from people on other rating services that the owner of this business nicked their dogs while grooming them or didn't provide the service they requested, we decided to give him a chance. Our dog was bitten while under his care, and he didn't tell us. From the moment we picked her up, she was acting strangely, submissive and moving with some discomfort--we figured she got nicked and was just a little freaked out. It wasn't until a couple of days later when we took her to the vet that we found that it wasn't a nick from the grooming, but a bite mark from another dog. When confronting the owner, he denied all responsibility and became abusive. This man is not an honest businessman, does not operate with integrity, and is a risk to the safety of your beloved pet!
If you care for your animals, take them somewhere else! We are filing a complaint with the BB Bureau.
