Life Cycle Family CounselingKen Burr at Life Cycle Family Counseling is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in relational issues. He works with individuals, couples and families, viewing them through a Family Systems lens which takes into account the significant relationships in each person's lives. He conducts his private practice in two delightful offices; Seattle's Lake Union, and Beautiful Lopez Island.Ken has had a wide variety of life experience that informs his work with clients. He has been involved in the people helping business for nearly 2 decades! His unique insight from years of pastoral ministry, as well as his training and certifications at the local and national level as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (AAMFT) allows him to be known as a "Relationship Expert" who tends to the whole person. Ken believes that even in our closest realtionships, we must connect the dots between the mind, body, emotions, sexualities and spiritualities in order to become fully integrated human beings.Ken's office is a Gay Friendly Environment!If you or your same sex partner need counseling, you will feel respected and cared for in his office. He has been working within the gay community for nearly twenty years; starting with my pastoral involvement in AIDS ministries in the 1990s, being part of the Religious Coalition for Equality, and providing gay affirmative therapy for many individuals and couples who are sexual minorities.
