I purchased a refurbished dryer at a great deal from them, had it delivered & everything seemed fine. Until I used the dryer & it never turned off. Called them & they said they'd replace it. So, on the day of delivery, they were several hours late, making me miss an important appointment. Also, I believe the dryer they replaced it with was slightly lower quality than the original, but hey, at least it works.

If the headline and the pros and cons didn't cover it, Fremont Appliance has great prices, but they will destroy your carpet. I am not kidding. After they dragged the wet/rusty/disgusting bottom of the broken old fridge over the carpet (they chose the one minute I left the room - I kept wondering why they chose to work around it rather than take it out right away. It turns out they wanted to do it when i wasn't looking), i asked them if this is how they always do it and they said, ""Yes."" When I asked what they were going to do about the carpet they said that it looked like it could use a cleaning anyway. And then they left, leaving an orange-brown trail from the kitchen all the way to the front door.
I called the office, and the owner, Neil, sounded quite reasonable and offered to come over with a spray can of carpet cleaner and a vacuum. Let's just say it didn't go well. His final words, after a ""cleanup"" of less than five minutes, were, ""if you don't like it you can sue me.""
Fremont Appliance does have great prices, and if you are a landlord with low expectations, it may be the place for you. If, however, the appliance is being delivered to your home (yes, even a rental apartment is home), don't let Fremont Appliance in. Really. You'll be sorry.

As owners of multiple apartment buildings in Seattle we have been using Fremont Appliance several times a month for many years. Their customer service is unmatched and their competitive pricing is hard to beat. If you aren't using Fremont Appliance you should.

They deliver the best products at a reasonable price, accommodate needs for prompt delivery, and provide service second to none - Fremont Appliance is the business I recommend.

I have purchased from them several times now and have had a great experience every time. The appliances always work like new and at half the cost. Had to get warranty service once and they stood by their work a fixed the problem the same day. I have nothing but praise for them and highly recommend Fremont Appliance to everyone.

Well, every body that works there seems really friendly. It appears that they only have an office phone so it is very difficult at times to get in touch with them. We have purchased from them before and things have worked out well. However, if you want to deal with them, be prepared to spend some time and be persistent with leaving messages with them. I had an appointment with Neil to come look at a washer drier combo that has been blowing our circuit breaker the second it is plugged in. It has been this way since it was delivered. The appointment was originally for 10AM. When I called at noon they said they were on their way. It is now 2:30 PM and I cant get in touch with anybody there to see if they are still coming. I really want to like them but they just don't seem to understand the service industry or value their customers time. I really would have liked to do something else with my day, especially since I had to call my boss and inform him that I would now need the whole day off. I wonder if they will ever show up?

Please beware of buying from Fremont Appliance. I bought a used washer and dryer from them in August that leaked from the beginning. After 2 very difficult to arrange visits, the flooding it caused only got worse. We now have water damage in the basement and after 2 months of giving him every chance to make this right, we had to move on and buy a working set, in addition to being stuck with the bad set he wont give a refund on.
To add insult ti injury, he managed to turn the whole situation into a hide and seek game of phone tag. And then yells over you when you are finally reduced to asking for a refund.
Please don't bring your business here, this man is really off and he doesn't see his part in the problem.... It appeared from our in person visits to the shop that this is not uncommon there.
