I must say that hiring this plumber to replace the pipes in my house was one of the best things to happen to me lately. After having trouble with getting reasonable estimates from two other plumbing companies I hired Evan Conklin because they spent the time discussing how the job was going to be done. The estimate was right on target. The work went well, they cleaned up after themselves and it was a pleasure to do business with them.
Evan is a stand up guy. I had a problem with my 9 year old water heater pilot and called him to come out for a repair or replacement. Before we set up an appointment, he spent about 20 minutes at 9:30 at night walking me through some troubleshooting for about 20 minutes or so. Long story short, I got the pilot lit and the heater is back in action. Not sure if this was a fluke problem with the heater or if it might need repair down the road but Evan helped me out and saved me money by not having to come out. When the heater does go out one day, I will be calling Evan.

Evan Conklin Plumbing and Heating is a rare bird around here (Queen Anne). I called at least 6 plumbing companies and tried to get some idea how much it cost to get a faucet leak looked at and repaired in my home.
Nobody but Evan Conklin would even discuss the estimated cost with me on the phone.
Evan was the only one that told me what his labor rate was and how long most leaks take to fix. As it turned out it it took 30 minutes and cost me under $100.00.
I had the plumber (Anthony - a really nice guy) take a look at the boiler in my basement while he was there and he advised me to how to safety check it and flush it.
Evan and Anthony were both exceptionally knowledgeable and professional. I have my plumbers!
This company is a neighborhood jewel.
I called at least 8 plumbers off the internet directories and couldn't get an idea of how much they would charge me from any of them until after they came out.
Evan Conklin was very helpful when I called and estimated the cost to fix my leak at under $100. The bill came out to $$79.25 - less than he estimated.
The plumber (Anthony) was great. I know I can trust this company after using them for this little project. They were informative and polite.
They are my plumbers from now on.
Wonderful service. I called with a request to change out my leaking water heater before the water affected my floors and they came out right away.
Martin had the thing replaced in about an hour.
With the Google coupon The price was lower than the other quotes.

They talked intelligently on the phone when I was phone shopping for a replacement water heater. They were great. No hustle, no mumbling about the price. They sent a real plumber who did the swap out in 45 minutes.
The price was right and they let me use a Google coupon at the last minute!
Excellent service by a pro company.

I hired this company upon a friend's recommendation - and it was a good one.
We had a blockage and called one of the plumbing companies with a big ad in the phonebook. Unfortunately, the guy that came out told me that I would have to replace the sewer pipe for $12000 after running a snake. I told him I would think about it and called my neighbor for advice. He told me that Evan Conklin was the only plumber he would trust here in town and to give him a call.
Evan sent Anthony out and he determined that I had a slight ""belly""? in the outgoing pipe but that it was close to the house and could be fixed in 3 hours as it was not more than three feet deep. He dug it up and replaced about 5 feet of pipe. The bill was $925.00!!!!!
Thanks Evan and Anthony for being honest real plumbers . (Shame on that other company....)
I am telling everybody - This company is the only one to call with so many shysters out there.

Seattle Plumbing Company saved my house! I had a flood last light caused by a broken pipe behind my dishwasher. My neighbor told me to get a plumber ASAP as the shut off didn't work 100%. I had trouble getting anybody to tell me on the phone what kind of cost I might expect. The first three I called would not give me any idea. On the fourth call I called these guys and the dispatcher (Evan) was a plumber! I couldn't believe it. He talked to me for a few minutes about what was happening and he told me it was probably a small problem with a flexible hose. He told me that they charge by the quarter hour and that it was likely that the fix would be about half an hour. He was right on. They came right away and charged me for half an hour. They didn't even charge me any travel charges. Thank You Evan. These guys are truly the best.

Evan Conklin Plumbing was referred to me by my neighbor after I was given a very high price quote from a large plumbing company here in Seattle to replace the pipes in my house.
I liked the fact that when I called I could speak to the owner about my project on the phone. The other company charged me a fee just to come out and then they gave me less information than Evan gave me for free.
Evan Conklin gave me a quote that was significantly less - 60 % less! They told me that the difference in the price quote was because they don't pay the plumbers on commission but the other shop did. I never heard of such a thing! Nobody needs a plumber working on commission.
I also liked the fact that when I gave them the job they showed up as promised and did the job with two plumbers on time. They were knowledgeable, friendly and they cleaned up after themselves.
It doesn't get any better than that.

I've used Evan Conklin plumbing for a variety of jobs around my house including clearing a blockage in my main sewer line and installation of a new hot water heater.
A couple months ago, I called them to do some preventative maintanence on my main sewer line prior to the rainy winter kicking in. The job took under an hour and required the use of a power snake. The bill was a little higher than I expected so I called Evan and inquired about it. He provided me a thorough and reasonable explanation about the cost and when we hung up, I thought that was the end of it. Much to my surprise, he called me back about a half hour later and said that after he researched the various coupons he had posted on the internet, that they did overcharge me (an innocent oversight) and he would be sending me a partial refund. I was shocked. A tradesman actually refunding money voluntarily even after I had accepted the original explanation! This was unheard of. Not only have I always been happy with their work and staff, now I am an even bigger fan based on their honesty/integrity.

Evan Conklin Plumbing is a wonderful service. After wrestling with other companies that would not give me an estimate over the phone this company was refreshing. I actually talked to the owner on the phone and he was willing to discuss the issues that I needed to be addressed. (Some new piping, faucets and a sink change). He gave me an estimate that actually was withing 5% of what the bill came to.
The plumber they sent out was very skilled and pleasant to have around. Their pricing was fair and easy to understand.
I like these guys. Highly recommended.

worst most expensive plumber
i had them out to install a gas water heater. they told me 1500 to install it. i ended up paying 3200 and then 1500 for a water heater. after paying these prices youd think that you would at least have professional service. ive had plumbers out three times repairing work from them, after several calls about gas leaks they wouldnt even come out to take care of the problem. this is a company i would never recomend. they are you to scam people who dont know what quality plumbing should be.

These guys are great. I have used a lot of plumbing service companies over the years and they are the best. They always show up, they are knowledgeable and friendly. They don't flat-rate but only charge for the time they spend on my jobs. (I have rental properties). They deal effectively with the tenants which is not easy in some cases. Evan Conklin answers the phone and has saved me much time and money with his free advice and consultations. I highly recommend this company.

Anthony came to my house to fix a leak in the basement and unplug my laundry drain. He is very friendly, polite and was very skilled and efficient. He just got right in there and fixed my problems in less time than he estimated. The cost was less than another companies show up charge (which I did not use). Highly recommended.

The very very efficient, polite and quite skilled. The bill was much less than quoted by other companies over the phone. I especially liked that I knew exactly how much they were charging me for the first quarter hour including their travel time ($39.95). They only charge for the time actually on the job - I liked that. Very reasonable. I would definitely use them again.

They gave me a much lower quote than ended up charging me. Then when I had a problem with my device, they told me they needed to send a plumber to fix it which I could have done myself. They gave no troubleshooting advice and then post facto decided I would be charged a ridiculous amount of money for 15 minutes of service which took 5 minutes. When I protested this to the owner, he proceeded to yell at me repeatedly and call me an unreasonable customer.
