I ordered a salad and pad Thai for dinner. The lettuce is dry and chunky cutting, they have these vegetable sat in the bowl for too long, should have soak them in water. It taste a lot fresher, and the ginger dressing is a bit salty, but that could be vary to individual taste. My pad Thai is oily and the noodle broken. The taste is way under the belt for this type of restaurant. The bill come with 2 dollars extra for the beef that go with the Pad Thai. I guess they charge the meat separately, but didn't tell you that. The manager ask me how is the meal? Which I replied good, but it was not.

My wife and I used a gift certificate from work to try this place out. Big mistake. They seated us in the restuaruant area and gave us menus for food and coctails. When we tried to order a cocktail, we were told we should have sat in the bar, as drinks are not available in the restaurant... as if we should have somehow known this. We overlooked the major attitude coming from our server and asked if we could be seated in the bar instead, since the coctails looked pretty interesting. The simple process of getting moved 20 feet away to sit in the bar ended up involving the server, the hostess and the bartender, all of whom were incredibly rude. We stayed only because of the gift certificate. The food and drinks were good, but the service left such a bad taste in our mouths that we won't be going back. Shame... nice looking place.

I am speechless at the lack of quality this individual poses. Description white, male, bearded, and cocky. This man under pours his drinks, misorders food, and takes no accountability for his mistakes. Worst dining experience I have had into any of the 16 countries I have visited. They say impress a person and he/she might share there positive experience with several friends, however mistreat this same customer and they will share their bad experience with dozens. Now, sicken a critic like me with your lack of class and the will public share your distain everywhere I go from this moment out! Cheers to your going out of business and employing a truely revoluting and repungnant individual!!
I was seated and felt like both the seating and mere presence of my group was a distraction to the server. Honestly I felt like I was having dinner at my ex-husbands house. Very uncomfortable atmosphere. The white male bartender/server waiting on me continued to ignore my group. This business is lucky I went in a large group for had I been alone and received this treatment I would have walked out without paying. They should be paying customers for this kind of treatment.
Truely horrible dining experience!! Staff placed my order incorrectly and took five minutes to bring water as my mouth burned. Man behind the bar had no consideration for table manners as he was eating on the job. Be careful eating here the environment is tempting but the service is horrific!!
This was a truely disappointing experience... I am a member of the asian community and big fan of Thai cuisine. I arrived on Easter for an evening meal with my fiance and was not greeted properly asked if I wanted to sit in the bar or wait for a table? I stated bar and before I could even look to select a table the host threw two menus on a random table and vanished to the entryway... I then moved my menus and prepared to order only to be interupted by another hostess to inform me that we were given the wrong menus ""lunch menus"" at 8:30pm/for her credit she was polite and this was truely the best part of my dining experience ... in hindsight I should have left right here and cut my loss'. Then I was approached by the bartender/waiter who seemed uninterested in prompt service as I waited ten minutes for him to approach while he was tending his two other customers aka slouching on the bar watching tv. This bartender a portly middle aged white man asked for my order and I ordered one tum yum soup two stars .. a side of white rice and a root beer. In honesty I order tum yum soup 2-3 times weekly here as well as other Thai resurants locally. The bartender returned with our order. Upon consumption and the mere sight of peppers this order was a four or five star dish. I asked the bartender how many stars he had placed on the ticket and was responded with, ""You tell me?"". This is the definition of poor customer service for if I wanted to ask myself I would be talking to a parrot. The waiter clearly did not have any idea of the details of my order. I responded by stating two .. a mistake as the portly bartender responded and I quote,""Well then thats what you got. Would you like me to water it down for you?"". If I wanted my soup watered down I would have made top ramen and found this remark devaluing to myself as a customer. I checked out billed for 17.85 for 9.95 soup/4.00 2 rices/2.0 soda i only ordered one rice. Expensive for 4 bites and truely terrible!!
I went to catch a movie and had a wait time. Entered the bar in Thai Ginger where I waited and waited for the large bearded bartender to make even a hint at effort to observe his sourroundings. No such luck I timed the wait and it was over five minutes while he continued to gauk at the purpose of his employment which would be the tv in his bar. Finally noticed the bartender came over and asked if I wanted a drink while picking at his beard profusely. I watched him scratch away as I ordered a drink. I should have left before doing this because all I had was a tv, beard-itching bartender, and bill for order. Customer service was MIA. I hope if I am ever forced to go here again that he has finished scratching his beard.
I went here to enjoy the evening before heading home from my job. Bartender was white and visibly overweight. Ignored me for some time while watching tv. Finally approached my table took my order. Food was cold and waiter seemed to be uninterested in helping or listening to anything I said. This is probably true cause his eyes darted between the tv and myself. I paid and left. Paying for this kind of service is the only thing worse than my refrigerated dinner. I won't be abused again by this bartender as there's not enough room in front of the tv for the both of us.

If you are thinking of visiting this place, you better think again. The restaurant has no idea of customer service and if you go on a Monday night, I hope you are a football player because that is all the bartender and servers seemed to care about....WATCHING THE FOOTBALL GAME and forgetting their clients.
First of all, I wanted to sit in the dining room and the host seated me in the bar. Does she know the difference?
Second, the bartender took 15 minutes to greet our table, dropped our waters off and had the nerve to be rude when taking our order.
Thirdly, I ordered the most common dishes, chicken fried rice, ginger chicken and beef phad thai. They ruined my order by bringing me tofu phad thai. The ironic thing is that when they made a mistake, there was no apology and the server rolled his eyes. They resolved the problem by taking the phad thai back in the kitchen, taking out the tofu and replacing it with the beef. They thought I wouldn't notice the difference. I think their business license should be yanked for this one.
Fourth, I asked for the manager to come to my table, but he was more busy eating in the kitchen and stuffing his mouth in front of all his clientele. GO FIGURE!
When I think of this entire experience, I would rather have eaten saw dust.

Bad service. Foods were so pricy and was just so-so. Paid $12.00 for a deep fried fish which is 7 inches long including head and tail with mostly cheap vegetables - mushroom and green peppers. Fish was tough. Asked for a knife and it never came. They didn't even care if you liked it or not. Go anywhere else in the Pacific Place area for the best of your money!

Terrible service. The 8 PM reservation didn't mean anything to them. We were finally seated at 8:35. We asked if we could go to the bar and wait and the hostess said NO! I guess they didn?t want to make some $$ off of our party of 10 at the bar. Speaking of bar, the specialty drinks were good but there was only one bartender. The poor guy could have used some help. Anyway, our server was rude, had an attitude like we were putting him out, and the service was so slow. When the server finally gave us the time of day to take our order, he was visibly annoyed that we were ordering so much food for our party. I guess ordering a lot of food at a restaurant is frowned upon. What did he care? His gratuity was automatically added in I guess. Had he been a little nicer, he would have made a little more $. The appetizers were very good but the Phad Thai had too much fish sauce. I will not go here again. There are a lot better Thai places out there with MUCH better service.

I love there food, it is a shame they have gotten so big, that they don't care about the ones who supported them. I complained only once to the manager, gave him my business card asked for a call back. Nothing! I was ignored by the bartender and when I ordered my app, it came out undercooked (chicken skewers), he never asked for my main course order; he knew I was going to reorder, I told him so. I showed him my chicken, he never said a thing! Or better yet, an appology! I feel bad for the waitress and waiter who normally waited on me, because I am an over tipper, because they treat me nice. I had one other bad experience, but they where slammed and maybe it is okay to have a slow meal. But this attitude & lazy barteneder, attitude of the manager and no appology!

I'm a big fan of Thai Ginger, but it depends on where you go. For instance the Thai Ginger in Factoria has much better food than the other ones, including Pacific Place. The food was fine at the mall but the real winner here is the fabulous decoration and the lighting. It's just beatiful. However, it gets so crowded there on the weekends that you can't really enjoy the experience. Id recommend going on a quiet weeknight. In any event, it's nice to have an asian option in the shopping district that isn't completely westernized.

The bright colors and convenient location lured me here twice. The first time, the service was great, the food was adequate. Basically, it satisfied my hankering for Thai food in the middle of a day of shopping. The second time, I tried something new from the menu. The server brought my partner's food right away but forgot about me. After I signalled him, he brought me the wrong dish. I sent it back and he brought me another wrong dish. Finally, another server brought the correct dish, which was a disappointment in itself. It was a mound of rice covered in fine slivers of lime leaf that were too strong and not edible. The place is well decorated. I had time to admire the interior while I was waiting for my food, but this experience confirmed my preference for the simple neighborhood Thai restaurants outside the downtown area.
