Chicken & Waffles!

I feel like I'm at the Waffle House in the south, but BETTER! And having a patio deck in the summer is priceless!

Southern flair and strong drinks

On a side street in Capitol Hill, Captain Black's slings booze and bar food that will have you doing a double-take at the menu. Fried-to-order chicken with waffles and syrup, bubbling mac n' cheese, deep-fried cheese curds and an array of po'boys make this saloon a worthy stop for late-night bites. The inside can veer toward cramped, but the expansive outdoor patio space more than makes up for it when the weather cooperates.
