m very happy with April Lane's services, which are consistent and professional. Our house is always adequately cleaned for a fair price, but what I find most impressive about the service is the management team's attention to complaints. We've had a few problems with the rare substitute cleaner (although the service always warns us of substitutes in advance), and the managers gave promptly and politely responded to our concerns. I feel very comfortable endorsing April Lane's.

They show up like clockwork every other Tuesday to clean my home. April and her staff always get done, what I ask, whether its to clean the blinds, dust, or even fold laundry. Really helpful and dependable.

My husband hired April Lane's to do a deep cleaning (4 hours with two cleaners) as a Xmas gift. The day arrived for my cleaning appt and one person showed 15 mins late and told me the second cleaning person was running late and would arrive in another half hour. The first person started cleaning our upstairs. I went upstairs 2 hours later to find the cleaning person still up there and honestly I could not see that she had done much. I wondered to myself what on earth was taking her so long, but dismissed the thought as my husband said he'd researched this service and they were supposed to be great. I left at that point to run some errands and came back 35 mins. before the first cleaner was set to leave. While away, I received a message from their office stating that if I wanted my blinds dusted, I would have to pay extra as they were running out of time. I was a little taken aback, because I am a thorough housekeeper and I dust the blinds at least every third week. When I arrived home 35 mins. before the first cleaner was scheduled to leave--I was told the cleaner that arrived 45 mins late would stay later--I was again taken aback to find that person gone. I found the second cleaner in the kitchen and noticed the kitchen floor hadn't been cleaned yet and thought to myself, this is odd. I do not have a huge home, what have they been doing?! I went upstairs to check out how it looked and noticed the bathroom trash wasn't emptied. I came downstairs and waited for the other person to clean the kitchen floor. My kitchen floor is what drives me crazy--it is tile with lots of grout that I hate cleaning. I was really looking forward to having someone "deep clean" my floor, but I was disappointed to see her spend 5 mins. damp mopping it! I told her they hadn't taken out the trash upstairs (or downstairs) when she asked me how it looked. She retorted that she was actually going to do that before she left (yeah, right). After she left I noticed dirt on the floors, dust on the base moldings, the dishwasher front hadn't been cleaned, fingerprints on the door jams. How was this a deep cleaning?! Don't waste your time and money!
