Waypoint Marine did an excellent job on outfitting and installing a new dinghy, outboard motor and dingy lifter on our boat. The needed gelcoat patches from the previous installation were perfectly done and all work looked like new. Working with Jason was easy as he knew what he was doing and took care of everything we needed. We were delighted and found it to be a very pleasant experience.

I lived at Waypoint during the summer of 2016, and had a great experience. The staff was all very friendly and accommodating, and I did not have any difficulties with anything during my stay there. I would definitely recommend keeping your boat at Waypoint. Thank you Waypoint!
I have had the most amazing and affordable experiences with the waypoint boating club. My personal favorite is the pontoon boat because it's easy and fun to party on with friends, plus a killer sound system. I do recommend this to anyone who doesn't want to buy a boat but enjoys boating occasionally.
I recently purchased a used Cobalt boat from Waypoint Marine and I cannot be more happy with my buying experience and service that I received from their sales manager Garett N. He did a great job facilitating the offer paperwork and took the time to go over the different aspects of the boat with us. When it came time for the sea trials he was on time for the appointment and answered all of the questions that we had. I would recommend Waypoint to anybody who is looking for a used boat at a great price.
I bought a consignment Nautica rib from them online at a used boat website .The posted pictures and email descriptions from Garett Newman turned out to be exactly as represented.I also had them do the service needed on it,and prep it for shipment from Seattle to Milwaukee. The Uship driver told me they were professional and had it ready to roll on his arrival. When it arrived,I found their technician Brendan had it running great and ready to go.It's been a real nice tender for us this spring and summer. We have put many lake Michigan hours on her already. You know,it's always a risk buying long distance, and online. But they made this an easy and safe business deal. And that's the best one can say in my opinion.
Waypoint, and one employee in particular, demonstrated they completely understand customer service.1. Upon first call in, the person answering the phone gave me the mobile phone number of Shawn. Shawn sells the inflatables, immediately answered the phone, made time the next day for us.2. We arrived at the store and met Shawn. He opened/unwrapped 2 boats for us. He spent time answering our questions but not pushing anything.3. We called Shawn to ask if he would take our trade...yes. Can he deliver and pick up the trade...yes. Can he do it Friday...yes. Can you write the deal now and provide a trade price...yes.4. Delivery day, Shawn shows up in the rain with help. Picks up trade and delivers new AB Inflatable. There was a slight blemish on the new boat - Shawn offered many options and satisfied us. Shawn provided a couple of options for covers and registration numbers.Great service, always a path to yes, a pleasant transaction. Thanks!
Would like to thank Waypoint for having a single point of contact throughout the time my boat was being serviced. Brendan was always available to answer my questions and provide thoughtful advice. I appreciated that the electronics installer (Mitch) was available when I picked my boat up, to go through some of the key areas of the new installation. I'll be asking for these two individuals the next time I bring my boat in. Thank you!
I have only talked to the staff by phone on questions about my Seasport they are very helpful
Our boat was at waypoint for the last year and we were treated very well on all aspects. The dry stack system is a plus. The team was always willing to be flexible. Thank you.
I have a small 20-foot sailboat down at Shilshole, and my Honda 8hp outboard began acting up a few months ago. It would overheat for no apparent reason (as in, cooling system seemed perfectly functional), and it reached the point where we couldn't leave the dock because it overheated within minutes and just pooped out. I knew it needed maintenance and possibly a real repair. I called Waypoint and they said if I could bring the outboard to them, they could take a look at it. It was a major hassle getting the outboard off, disconnecting transmission cables, battery wires, etc. But we got it there, got it fixed, and brought it back. Unfortunately, once we got it all hooked back up and were ready to go sailing with friends, we turned it on, and it overheated and died two minutes later. Now here's where I thought everything was going to go downhill. I envisioned the hassle of trying to get the outboard off the boat again, I envisioned asking them to down to the boat and having them fight me on it, I just envisioned that it would all be a complete and total headache.Today I got up and went down there to tell them the outboard wasn't working after all their repairs, and instead of a headache, here's what I got: Brendan listened to my account of what happened and immediately said, "Is there someone at the boat now? Can I send someone to take a look?" I replied that I was free today and could go to the boat, and within five minutes he had a very friendly guy from the shop meet me at my boat. He was able to find that a hose connection just hadn't gotten put on tight enough. He apologized for them missing that, and then we started up the engine and it worked like a dream. No overheating. We chatted while we tested the engine. He answered a few random other engine/boating questions I had and gave me some good information on a future project I want to do.A couple hours after I got home I had a nice call from Brendan, asking if I was happy with how the engine was working and if I had any other questions or needed anything else. He apologized again for them accidentally not tightening that clamp tight enough. I've had surgical procedures where they seemed less concerned about my well-being afterward than Waypoint did after fixing my outboard. I am really happy with their customer service, I was so impressed that their first response was to come down and find out what happened, no hassle. Such a relief! And now we can finally go sailing again!
