I will keep this brief, you can look at the photo attached if you don't feel like reading. Came in about 2 weeks ago for an oil change. 9 days later the oil light came on. Once I was able to get to a a gas station and open the hood, I discovered the oil cap was not on and oil had splashed out, covering everything under my hood. To make matters worse, the words "Jiffy Lube Sucks" were finger painted into the dust of a plastic cover under the hood. Wow! Not only did they fail to complete a pretty basic step in an oil change, they defaced my car by disparaging a competitor. Some real genius' at this joint.
Alarm, attention, watch out everybody.....listen carefully DO NOT DO NOT take your car to this Auto mechanic ever.....I had been taking to this place for long time but for the right moment Peter was being dishonest to me he asked me for the tuned up when my car need to be fix for something else....he charged me around $500.00 which no need so, when I took the car home the problem still occurred kind a hit and miss then I told him he said well he just look around to see if any old part need to be replace he replaced it since he had never used the computer to figure where and how the problem were....He took advance off most lady and especially Asian one and people have no knowledge about the car thing....It will be your turn soon and any times please watch out for that...depend the situation and depend on the person...he watch you carefully to do that so not every single time but soon or later he's going to get you just like what he did to me since I was his customer for over ten years....please pass around for people come to his shop all the time....Also If you have to then ask him keep the old part after he install a new one so that way he can not use his trick to tell you replace this and replace that....it might not need to do so at the time, but when he got your car just a minor oil change he can charge you more things and it's adding up so you thing that he might be a honest person but your old part from your car who know it might not be needing to replace....he fool you for that and then he gets a reputation that he's done a good service.I hope you are not a victim from him, and I was so upset about it and I am going to report to BBB to let them know how his business was...in the mean time don't let him fool you. We are couple people here in Bellevue knew his trick now and we talked about it over and over at least I can share this story with you out there. PLEASE DO NOT COME TO HIM FOR SERVICE. DON'T BE A VICTIM. WHEN I CAUGHT HIM ONCE WHICH MEANT SO MANY TIMES HE HAD FOOLED ME BUT I DIDN'T REALLY CATCH.Last but not least he said when i bring him an old car he think that my old part need to replace first, then he was blinding to figure out what's wrong with my car, and he bragged that he was with business for 12 years. All of the shop they put on the computer first to see what is wrong but he was doing differently so he can replace everything first from your car then he will get into your car problem after....he was over charged with not necessary. PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR TO HIM, PLEASE DON'T BE A VICTIM.
I have had highly questionable service both times I have taken my car to Hobbs. I will not be taking my car back.The first time I took my car here, it was because I had failed an emissions test. There was a broken camshaft censor, which was replaced by Hobbs.They not only charged me for the part and the labor, but an additional $135 because my vehicle failed the emissions test. This was a completely unnecessary charge for a service that they did not perform. When I brought this to their attention, they refused to waive the fee.My first bill was $428. The second time I went to Hobbs, it was for an oil change. This is a simple procedure on my car, and should've cost about $50.When I dropped off my car, an employee mentioned that the engine air filter would be replaced if necessary. I told him that it was just replaced, so it shouldn't be a problem.When I picked my car up from Hobbs, I found out that they had changed the engine air filter. I showed them the invoice from a shop that recorded it being changed 2200 miles ago. The Hobbs employee insisted that the filter was dirty and that I had been driving in dust and dirt (which was not true).On top of this charge, they replaced 2 lights that had gone out. I did not ask for this to be done, and I was not told that this was being done.My second bill was $123.In both of these instances, not only was I charged for services that I did not ask for, but I received customer service that was well below average.

I admit. Car repairs are at the bottom of the totem pole when it comes to spending money enjoyably. With that being said, I do tend to neglect my car and preventative maintenance is not at the forefront on my to do list.
