Car Toys is litterally the worst place i have ever done business with in my half century of life on the planet earth. Someday when these reviews cover the entire Galaxy, i'm pretty sure that this company will still fall into the bottom 1%. How bad can they be? I took my car in for a 200 dollar install, and they did 12k worth of damages so bad that even the Toyota Dealer is at a loss on how to get my car back to the way it was before this place laid hands upon it. Really all you have to do is google car toys and BBB to see that this place has a 93% NEGATIVE rating.
My experiences with this company are possibly the worst I"ve ever had when doing any kind of business. Walking into this store is almost like being transported to some third world country where there is zero liability for their unqualified technicians when they damage your car as they have done to mine. I estimate the damages i've suffered somewhere in the $5,000 to $10,000 range for a job that was in the 200 dollar range. This is not only inexcusable, its downright criminal and i have filed complaints with the Washington State Attorney General consumer protect dept. No wonder this business has a 93% Negative rating from the BBB website.
When walking into Any Car Toys store, one is instantly reminded of those old Circuit City stores in their final sad days. And when dealing with employees and managers, they seem like they know their business is on the way out and there's no need for anything even remotely resembling customer service. In point of fact my last experience with car toys was so bad i'm hiring an attorney for the thousands in damages they casued to my car, likely in an intentional act of retribution for my complaining about the initial accidental damage they caused during an installation.
Car Toys essentially destroyed my 80,000 dollar luxury sedan during the installation and subsequent removal of equipment. Their work was so terrible that the damage seems suspiciously like vandalism. The Toyota dealer was perplexed as some of the damage was in parts of the car that car toys had no business meassing with during the installation. After seeing what they did to my car, i went to their BBB page on the BBB website and saw that they had a 93% NEGATIVE rating! Wish i had seen that first.
Came in and bought a dash cam and within 5 mins they got started on it even though they are really busy. Great customer service!
Felt like there was no understanding of my background. I couldn't discuss options with her I would ask about programs then be insulted and she would leave before even listening to me. Also I trouble scheduling appointments and regularly not answering the phone during business hours. It was stress on my life because angry outbursts when making requests, put downs and insults to my character.
