NOT BE TRUSTED! RIP-OFF ARTISTS!I dropped off a bunch of shirts to be laundered by CH Cleaners (along with a pair of slacks and a tiny pocket re-stitching for a jacket). One of the shirts was linen and needed to be dry cleaned (per usual). The other 25 were to be laundered, no starch. The total cost on my claim receipt was $96.55. When I went to pick up the items, they told me the cost was now $148.87. More than $50 than that the receipt said! When I questioned why such a drastic increase to the price, they said I must be using the ticket from last time. Huh? No, I had the correct ticket for the correct order. Next, they said that 12 of the shirts that were to be laundered had to be "hand pressed". This is the most ridiculous excuse I have ever heard. I have had all of these shirts laundered many times at other dry cleaners with absolutely no special exceptions. Why wouldn't they tell me this when I dropped the items off? This is not right. This is a clear example of a small business taking advantage of the local community and it's very disappointing. I have read other comments on this site experiencing this same exact situation so they must pull this extortion tactic on innocent customers frequently. I was scammed out of $50 from this dishonest, unethical neighborhood business and will never step foot in CH Cleaners again. Buyer beware.
This location is so convenient to everything! The office is very welcoming, I have always had great experiences with this company.
AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU VALUE YOUR CLOTHESI can't attest to their dry cleaning skills but I recently brought in like 6 shirts and 4 pants to be sewn in areas that ripped. Yesterday when I went to pick them up I had issues with all of their work. I hoped that the majority of the sewing would be minimal and done in a way that wouldn't be noticible. This wasn't the case. They used a different color thread then the shirt was... not even trying to conceal the stiching. They also stiched in a zig zag pattern over everything, not even trying to go horizontal or verticle matching the lines of the shirt. When I complained about the quality of their work they said they I should have been more specific with them about how I wanted these sewn. I thought it was a no brainer to not use white thread if you are sewing up a blue shirt. I had to throw away all the shirts. The pants I can wear because their mistakes won't be as noticible. Although I am kind of pissed at them because granted these shirts aren't new but if I bought them at like $100 a piece and had to throw them all away I feel like this place owes me at least $300 for all 6 shirts. They didnt charge me for the $30 or so for the pants, but I feel like this still ia not enough so leaving this review here so other people can avoid having to deal with this. They also took my pant hangers that I brought in and hung my pants on shirt hangers so I have to go back there again today to get my pant hangers again.
Read the KOMO news article about the bulk by the pound pricing. Called four times to confirm their pricing....and was told the minimum load had changed from 6 pounds mentioned in the article to 8 pounds. Saved all my dry cleaning for 4 months and when I arrived at Helena's I was told the minimum was now 20 pounds. I was at their counter and called the number I had called to confirm pricing etc. and was told I could do a 10 pound load but they would have to make a special receipt for me. The person at the counter asked to speak to that employee. They told them they wouldn't accept my 10 pound load and handed they phone back to me. The employee I was speaking to got her manager involved. They said theowner had left and no one could authorize them to accept a bulk load under 20 lbs. I had called four times and been given wrong information while I was standing in their business and they still turned me away. This is the worst customer service ever.
Lisa is a MORON and kiss any security deposit good-bye. Do not trust her. She is unprofessional and I wish I could give this company less than 1 star...
I take excellent care of my clothes. So when I moved and needed to find a Seattle dry cleaner I asked my favorite boutique owners in where they go. To a person they all recommended Barg French Cleaners on Queen Anne.I went and was extremely impressed by the high quality of cleaning, care of my clothing from drop off through pick up, and the outstanding customer service. I go weekly. I can't imagine going anywhere else, as I'm so very satisfied on all levels.
-----⭐️I also would give Negative stars!! They Ruined my girl friends Louis Vuitton purse! And what they call customer service is a Joke!! IN MY OPINION TAKE THNGS ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE!!The finally sent a letter saying do to the purses age and wear they would reimburse no more than$100.00 or 10%.The purse was a 81/2 on a 1 to 10.puse had sentimental value as well as costing $975.00
Bait and switch alert.Called them to pick up 4 mini blinds for cleaning,? Initially was told they would cost $50 to $60 total. Was told they would be brought back 4 days later. On the day they were supposed to be delivered, nothing, called the next day and they were brought back with the hands missing. Was told in person that the total would actually be $40, excellent. The problem was one of the wands was missing and another the clip holding the wand was missing. Took another two days to have this resolved, no problem I thought. Then a week later we get the bill and it's just shy of $200. Spend next several hours trying to track the person down to find out what happened, Then I'm told that cost is per blind, what a scam. Very dishonest company and person. Beware.
Highly professional Seattle Real Estate agent that listens to concerns and acts with his clients best interest at heard.
We just concluded a transaction with Francisco Dictado. He handled everything as we are out of town sellers. Thanks Francisco!
