I am afraid and disappointed to say that the Central does not know how to care for their customers. I was sitting with a nice young gent who bolted for the door when he realized that a rat ran under his feet from the kitchen. Luckily, the rat of less that 10 inches, but larger that seven, decided to return to the kitchen after his scare with people. I really liked the Central despite this occurrence, and decided to spend my Halloween there with others. Unfortunately, my friends were asked to leave, WITHOUT ANY OBSTRUCTION OF PEACE, after they were over-served...an embarrassing experience, and as a professional bartender, I can say that the "ladies" of Central lack professionalism and true training as to how to serve people. They over-serve people and then kick them out instead of dealing with the repercussions. Understandable (fear), but irresponsible (fear). Get educated, bitches. I know this bar has some history, but I think the rats are the only ones who know it. I give it three stars for their attention to Newcastle and Stella on tap...and that is it.
My ex-boyrfiend and I used to frequent The Central and while I will say that it's nice to have a bar in Seattle that you can literally roll out of bed and go to, you can expect that others will be doing the same! If people don't look disgustingly unhygenic, then they are probably the super skanky cougars decked out in pleather in the hopes of meeting their biker soulmate! Rats are part of the scene, trust me, I almost burst into tears one night when i saw one up on the ledge above the bar! The bartenders will just tell you they're part of Pioneer Square, but I have yet to see any of those little things running through any of the other clubs in the area including directly next door at Crimson! By the way, watch out for fights between the 2 clubs' patrons. I don't know who thought that putting a hip-hop dance club directly next to a hard-core biker bar with heavy metal was a good idea....but it's not!!! I almost got punched in the face once if it hadn't been for my ex! This place definetely has a specific clientele...you either fit it or you don't!
I just love this place! The food is grea, well above par for a pub. You can find amazing burgers, hand tossed pizzas, great fresh salads and weekly pasta specials to die for! The prices are pretty low also. Best of all, they pour really strong drinks! I was very pleased with the service, and I noticed that they recently added a deck outside. This has to be one of the best neighborhood bars in the area. Complete with pool tables, pull tabs and a dart board. I highly recommend checking this one out!
Having put on about 4 bachelorette parties now, this place by far exceeded my expectations. My cousin didn't want to go to a strip club or walk from one club or the next. This place serves a great, affordable dinner, while your entertained by professional dancing and theatrics. We had soooo much fun! You have to call and reserve your seats, because the shows are usually sold out the night of.
This place is the nearest you're gonna get to 'Old Blighty' in Seattle. The ownership and much of the staff are genuine expat Brits. The interior has been lifted right off the High Streets of the U.K. The choices of beers surpasses anything in the region. The only thing missing is a black London cab in front. Brilliant!
I had the Carne Asada for lunch, oh my gosh, it was the best CARNE ASADA I have ever had. You should check out the new fancy marble bar, it is beautiful. He is now offering Karoke on Fridays and Saturdays is doing Disco. This place is amazing!!!
Absolutely amazing! I don't like fancy restuartants So I don't go out often and would suggest this place to anyone! Local or visitor!! Good food all around, apps, entres, dessert and drinks as well as service!
Linda's used to be way cooler. It is a hipster place, and the worst possible kind. The bartenders need to get over themselves. Brunch is really tasty though, that's why I gave it a 3 star.
I found these guys on my mobile YP app and came in for dinner. The food was very tasty and the service was great. The drinks are good also. They have a very nice bar.
I and my wife visit often. My wife loves Ceviche and Horchata, and I like The rice and corn tortillas with sour cream. Very pleasant atmosphere and great hosts.
