Avvo is a website for finding and reviewing Attorneys across the USA. However, they will only accept positive reviews. They will block people from posting truths about some attorneys, thus leaving more people open and subjected to bad and unethical representation. I suspect that AVVO is an attorney funded website --- and they will continue to allow citizens to be duped by some attorneys they represent.
I have had the WORST customer service and experience with this business. I brought in my camera June 17th, an entire month ago, to get my camera checked over to see if it was fixable. It took them a week if not more to even check my camera because they have an expert that only comes in once a week. After calling and calling for updates, they finally let me know that it should be ready Thursday, the 13th. at that time it had been maybe the 6th, and I was hoping to receive my camera soon after the 13th. Once again, I called yesterday to see why my camera had not been fixed or sent to me after paying over $90 upfront for them to fix it. I was again told that the expert was busy, and had another project ahead of mine. I was not told that my camera was in "line" to be fixed, and I do not understand why a company would give a date for a finished product when it is obviously not the case. When I called today complaining, I was told that if they were to tell the expert when to come in and what to work on, that he would "pick up his tools and leave". Is that my problem? No. Was I informed that this repair would take up to and past A MONTH? No. I am disappointed with the way this company is treating customers, ESPECIALLY because they had me pay upfront for the repairs. I am extremely upset with the service I have received as it has been rude, cold, and uncaring. Phototronics has had my camera for a MONTH, and I have yet to see any date as to when I might get it back. awful awful awful. Horrible experience, would NOT recommend for any repairs or services as they are unable to keep their projected finish date, and do not care enough about their customers. Will not be going back.
After two previous experiences with two different computer guys who spent hours and didn't accomplish much, and one hour on the phone with Geek Squad's Askanagent, Sunny came today and took only one hour to get my new computer to download files and set my new printer up with our network. Sunny didn't sit still, attacked another problem on our other computer while the new printer software was downloading. He's impressive.
I came across Tech Lab randomly in my neighborhood when I was in computer crisis. What a find! They saved me from that crazy day and now even if I moved I would travel back to their convenient shop from miles away. Since then I have also recommended them to many friends and have been back several times for other supply and maintenance needs. They have been quick, straight forward and affordable. Two thumbs up!
Tech Lab has been to my personal residence twice for repairs and has done a wonderful job solving my computer problems quickly while providing clear communication and outstanding customer service. I recommend them to everyone!
Charles does phenomenal work. He's super conscientious and has gone above and beyond to take care of me at every turn. I can't recommend him enough! I had dropped my i927 down a flight of stairs and the screen was ruined. He somehow noticed that since the buttons weren't working there was likely a broken cable. After getting quotes on parts he determined that I'd be better of replacing the device. However since I was committed to retrieving my data from my digital lifeline, he suggested that he could just buy a used i927 to use as a "parts phone." That way, no matter what issues he ran into, he would have a replacement part on hand. He completed the work in half the time I expected and shipped both the repaired and cannibalized devices to me while I was traveling in California. What service!
I had a major virus in my computer that knocked it completely dead and I thought everything was lost, Charles was able to reload my operating system and save all my files and I was thrilled that I did not lose a thing, he did a great job communicating with me on what was going on and the price was very reasonable, if I ever have another issue I will go back to Tech Lab for sure.
We have used Tech Lab for about four maybe more years. We have called him to help us at home or dropped computers or laptops off at his store about two times a year. Sunnie has come to our home and worked on our network or computer crashing problems. He stays till it is fixed. He has provided advice that would not help him earn more money. He is frank and tells us if something is not worth repairing. He provides options letting us know up front what the potential costs and timeline might be to fix things. We trust him with our personal data.
