Big Kahuna

Last summer my son and I went to this dive and ordered some food. Their credit card processing machine wouldn't accept my card so I returned later in the day to pay for the grease. Okay, so end of story? No way. We went there tonight and to my surprise the waitress came at me like she was on crack asking if I had been in recently, perhaps last February? I had no idea what she was talking about until she brought up the notion that I didn't pay for my food the last time I was in there. We were told we wouldn't be served unless we planned to pay in cash this time in the rudest, most aggressive manner I have ever experienced in my life (and I was with a young child). Apparently, she didn't get the memo that we had come in and paid our bill the very same day the year before. But it didn't matter, she had apparently been pissed to high hell over this little incident for over a year (really?) and was waiting for the day of our return when she could let us know who's in charge of this lousy little dump. She called her boss who informed her it was all good, so we were now cleared to order (but with the implied understanding of no monkey business this time buddy). Forget that, we went down the street and had a very nice meal at a real restaurant where all of the staff were very pleasant. Keep clear of this dump; the food is a gut-bomb and the staff are on power trips (as well as, perhaps, alcohol and drugs). This was by far the worst experience I have had at a restaurant and it really put a black eye on our vacation. It's simply not worth the risk (of a ruined vacation or major indigestion).
