About Search Results

YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

I like Arthur have been in martial arts for a while. I have been training with Kyoshi Krystofik for over 8 years. this is not a school in the sense that it is a business. this is a skilled practitioner of one of the higher arts passing along his knowledge to willing learners. The fee that I pay is 25.00 a month and that goes to the athletic club that provides the rooms in which we train. Anyone who is looking for a ego boost will only find it here if they watch, listen, practice and approach the skills with a non-judgemental attitude. This is true karate in that it is a life time skill, I am 68 years plus and I plan on training until I am physically unable to make it to class. I would refer this to any real kerateka without hesitation. steveb

I would have to strongly disagree with skeet1120. I have been studying Okinawan arts for 11 years. Almost 2 years with Kyoshi Joseph Krystofik in Ryu-te. I drive all the way from Benton Arkansas 82.5 miles one way 2 times a week because I have not found anything as realistic as this self protecting art. Most people do not truly understand defense. They just want to learn attack . Being able to control your opponent in a real attack and not just striking them takes time and lots of training. I am sure that if people come and train in this system and actually dedicate time to this system they will be able to handle themselves against a real attacker and not just someone one in a ring with rules. Even a boxer trains relentlessly. They don't just throw punches they are precise and accurate. I have been attacked and what I have learned in Ryu-te actually works. I know many police officers from Kansas City that train in this system and it is tested and tried and it works. Go look up Taika Oyata on youtube he is the founder of this life protecting art he is real and so is Kyoshi Krystofik. This system teaches you to handle a real attack and Kyoshi demonstrates that. I don't mean a choreographed attack like most schools. I have really tried attacking him and what he does puts me down. You can work out for three months and pay the same amount as what most schools charge in one month. Come try it out. You wont learn enough in one week even in boxing.
