This is a Christ centered church with many filipino members. It is a very good place to worship with your family . Youth and children members are part of the weekly church service. This church foster an atmosphere of character building and caring for the underpriveledged.
To me this is not a church ,a church is to be holy the alter is to a holy place where a real man of God and woman of God minister under powerful anointing a real pastor will bring people to there home feed the homeless go to hospital pray for the sick as a pastor wife what kind of woman is she showing her body as mrs Illinois i rember pastors wife being sweet to people not showing off God is not going to pick up a church that is all fun God is picking up a holy church like the word says i prophesied in your name i did works for you and the lord will say depart from me we need to live a holy life not a show or a burger king.service go back to where God wants holiness and respect the altar to many false prophets out there in sheep clothing
The New World Christian Ministries is the organization in which the Douglass-Tubman Child Development Center was incorporated as a licensed full-time preschool and after school programs in the community of Austin where the population has increased steadily over the past few years. Therefore, these programs have become more vital for the stability of the community. I invite you to tell people about this Christian based day care, which has been funded to enhance and supplement its lesson plan with the Anti-Bias Curriculum," created by Louise Derman-Sparks. This curriculum teaches children the importance of accepting, valuing and showing concern for self as well as others.
This is my church. I was always a visitor, but joined and was baptized December 25 2011. We have a wonderful church with a lot of good members. You can always depend on anyone in our church. Rev. Eddie Knox, Jr. is our Pastor and he is always available. He visited me when I was hospitalized at the U of Chgo in March and April 2011. The choir makes a joyful noise! Come visit us. Worship Service is at 11:00 A.M. on Sundays.
