Finding the correct accountant is priceless for your business. Like most professions, you have people who are bad, good, and exceptional. I search out exceptional people. Unfortunately they are extremely hard to find.I feel I'm pretty well educated on accounting. I did go to college for finance and have done my own books by hand since 2001. I've always hired a CPA. Over the last 2 years I've been rebuilding and reevaluating professionals on my team. One of the people I changed was my accountant. Every accountant I interviewed before this one couldn't answer all of my questions because my companies are international, and extremely complicated. Far out of the scope of what most are qualified to handle. Most threw their hands up in the first 2 minutes and told me they aren't an expert in x,y, or z. My new guy crushed everything I threw and him and explained it with ease in a way that I understood. He proactively dissected my businesses and helped us create a strategy last year which massively impacted my tax liability. This single move of hiring a new accountant has made a massive difference in my life, which affects many others. If you are a business owner in Wisconsin and are not hiring Lucas Bittner to do your taxes, I'm sorry. Fire your guy, hire Lucas. You'll thank me later. Lucas is TOP SHELF and very passionate about what he does.
TOO SLOW FOR A TAKEOUT JOINT!!!I was told my food would be ready in 20 minutes but it actually took 35+ minutes, no word on how much longer it would take when I walked back in to check on my food after the 25 minute wait, and I was given no apology for the wait or a thank you for my patience. I was the 2nd customer to walk in when they opened at around 11:30am but my order (somehow) still got caught up in the 12pm lunch rush...after 12pm!!!I really haven't eaten at Redd's Snappers since the late 1990's early 2000's because of how slow they were even if you call your order in (Burleigh location was notorious for this). I was reminded today why I stopped dealing with Redd's Snapper alltogether (both the Lisbon and Burleigh location). They are STILL very slow and terribly understaffed for one of the busiest times of the day...lunchtime!Furthermore they don't use the same seasoning from years ago on their perch fish. I might as well take my chances with J&J's Fish and Chicken. They're usually located in rough neighborhoods but at least you'll get out of there fast!
This by far has had to be one of the worse dinning experiences I have had in an upscale establishment. We were in town for the USA Triathlon National Championships and wanted to enjoy a nice meal so we made reservations at the Capital Grill for Saturday August 10th at 7:00 pm. Having dine at other Capital Grilles (through out the US) we thought this would be a great place to celebrate. We arrived 5 minutes early and were greeted in a pleasant manor and were told "our table was ready" or "we could wait to be seated". We didn't realize that telling the host sitting now was a kiss of death giving us the table that was "an after thought" that was shoved INTO the EXIT door. It was the type of table that you sit the kids at Thanksgiving or Christmas. Now, mind you there were other tables they could have sat us but we were a party of 2. They knew we were from out of town. So guess they send the people from Dallas who will not be back (wink, wink) into the corner. We were served water quickly (with the bread already on the table) and our waitress did greet my husband by his last name. But for an establishment that is charging customers as much as they are I couldn't get over how her outfit looked more like something you would see at Luby's and it didn't even fit her which was so distracting the whole time (well whenever we did see her). After she introduced herself it was as if she disappeared. We didn't see her again for 15 minutes before she even asked us what drinks we wanted. For appetizers, We had oysters on the half shell and the smoked salmon. The sauces for the oysters were so bland lacking in taste. The cocktail sauce was such, there are better ones you can buy at the store. Our next course my husband had the mozzarella tomato salad. I had the soup of the day lobster bisque. Considering the mozzarella is made every two hours the salad was flat. lacking seasoning, the tomatoes were not fresh. The soup was pleasant with large pieces of lobster. My husband had the fillet special with the lobster mac n cheese side. Mine the parmesan sole with a crab and avocado salad with a side of cream spinach. His meat was cooked to medium rare as he requested. The waitress did check on us only at that time, after he had cut into his meat. The mac and cheese, didn't have that greasy look that even some gourmet mac and cheeses can. Well the lobster was rubber to the point it made you wonder what were you eating. The noodles and cheese left one of those fur feelings on your tongue. As soon as I cut the outer edge of my fish the edge was luke warm. Only the left outside edge of my fish was even close to feeling like it had been cooked. When I tried to cut the middle to take a bite it was so horrible, I thought I was going to get sick right in the restaurant. We were mortified! What is worse. we NEVER saw our waitress. She only came by the one time to check on us when my husband CUT HIS MEAT. I couldn't even tell her "My fish is not COOK!" Obviously they must have known because our waitress did tell us they were going to pay for our desserts. Yet a manager never came to ask "How was our meal". My husband had the creme brulee and I had the cheese cake. His brulee, which he is a connoisseur (having dined on all over the world), was just OK per him. Again, nothing special. Given it was free oh well. They put a twist on the cheese cake with burning the top like a creme brulee which was different but not a traditional cheese cake. It was also round as it was made it a ramekin. Never again will we dine here!
Awesome, delicious food! Too dark - maybe because we were stuck in a corner. Service was slow. Server could not explain a particular item on the menu or explain about the smoke shack feature items and smoking process. When server came to take the plates away, we said our brisket seemed to have alot of fat on it and her response was ' oh darn, sorry'. She forgot to put in our desert order as we waited impatiently.
The customer service here is slow. They forget you're even at the bar or at a table. The bartender walked past us multiple times while our drinks were empty and we tried getting her attention multiple times with no luck. Same can be said for the waitresses. Needs improvement
Food was good, service wasn't that great. Our waiter was great and had a good personality. Then we went to play games and get some drinks and it took forever to get them. The bartenders had absolutely no personality and didn't say anything and just looked at us for when ordered drinks. The guy in the prize area didn't say a word either...yuck. Hire some people that can at least pretend they don't hate their job. Lastly, the place was dirty and there was garbage everywhere. I'd rather travel to a different location than go to this one again.
TODAY IS MY FIFTH AND LAST TIME EATING FROM THIS PLACE. I THINK THEY ARE THE WORST OF THEM ALL. I HAD 1 OUT OF 5 MEALS THAT WAS ONLY ALRIGHT. THE FACT THAT THEY MIRCOWAVE TO GO ORDERS IS DISRESPECTFUL. ALSO WHERES THE SEASONING? OH YEAH ITS ALL ON THE OVER RATED AND OVER SEASONED CHICKEN. NOT A DROP OF SEASONING ON THE MUSHROOM SWISS BURGER THOUGH.WHY IN THE HELL WAS THE CHEESE ON MY GRILLED CHICKEN SALAD MELTED FROM THE HOT ASS (WHOLE) CHICKEN BREST FILET BUT THE CHEESE ON MY $5.00 GRILLED CHEESE KIDS MEAL WASN'T? OMG THE WAFFLE FRIES TO EVERY MEAL TASTE A DAY OR THREE OLD :-( .... NOW THE THING THAT ORDERED THAT WAS ALMOST RIGHT WAS THE GYM SHOE SANDWICH, TRUST ME WHEN I SAY I'VE HAD BETTER BUT OVER ALL IT WAS ALRIGHT. I SEE A LOT OF BUSINESS GOING IN AND OUT OF THERE SO I TAKE IT THAT OTHERS LOVE IT IM SORRY THAT I CANT EVEN LIKE IT.
Excellent customer service! Would definitely recommend to any business owner looking for a dynamic website.
