This is the worst place ever. MAMA is the manager do not trust her.I do not know but very fishy anyhow,I was taken advantage by the manager. She is a fabricator, liar, manipulator. I was told by "MAMA" after certain amount of days i will need to exit property for a day then return. I followed accordingly however recently i had left the apartment and was promised because there is a $40 credit i can leave the premises however leave my belongings "4-Bags" behind in the bedroom closet "ROOM 9" no one will occupy for the night meaning we will return the next day it'll be OK.Upon arrival the next day i noticed one of my bag is sitting outside the balcony & room 9 was occupied.I immediately spoke with "MAMA" and all she could say "I DON'T KNOW WHERE ARE YOUR THINGS".3 bags stolen which all those bags had my valuable inside. 4th bag left behind.She demands the nightly rent in full $70.00 still after i got my properties stolen. She then put me & my husband into room 6. We complaint numerous times no hot water in the shower & she didn't bothered to help. We went 4days straight with no hot water, no sort of compensation.We asked of her help however she means nothing.She refused to provide any contact information "WHY", my niece happen to visit was able to speak to another manager on site that affiliates with "MAMA" and he wasn't aware of any issue.As he approached "MAMA" she refused it wasn't true.How so?When i have a police report in hand.Later on THAT same day, she barges into room 9 where i was at while i am in the restroom door open speaking with my niece demands why i had spoken to her managers? Really? so my niece defended me by asking questions and instead of "MAMA" answering/apologizing or wanting to help she immediately cuts us off from trying to seek help and walks off.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DO NOT STAY HERE,MAKE SURE YOU READ ALL INFORMATION, ALWAYS MAKE SURE THERE ARE SIGN DOCUMENTS OR PROOF OF DOCUMENTS & COLLECT RECEIPT AT ALL TIMES. WATCH FOR THE MANAGER.

Great place to stay for the price. Also an excellent location to explore the city. Very convenient.
Stay away from this organization. My wife and I recently rented an apartment at 2027 in Brush Street in Oakland for two months while our condo was being renovated. It was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. There were numerous problems with the apartment including cleanliness, hazardous conditions, broken equipment, non-responsive owner / building manager, Theft of our damage deposit, etc We will be filing a claim in Oakland courts and notifying the Oakland city building inspector. Avoid at all costs!
Great little inn in JLS that is central to a lot of great spots. The hotel was supposed to be non-smoking but had a hint of smoke smell. I did love that the room came with a mini fridge, microwave, lots of mirrors (4 girls getting ready for a concert) and pretty spacious. The pool area looks quite relaxing and the service was great. I'd stay here again!
Second stay here this year and I can say it is improving. The room I stayed in was clean, but the bathroom sink handle was broken. Other than that I like the location, great to get around town on business.
Don't hesitate to book here. Everything was just perfect. I stayed here by myself for three nights recently on a work trip and couldn't have been happier. The staff are extremely helpful and the restaurant downstairs is excellent. The people who work at this hotel are very friendly and helpful. It's a short walk to city center (seriously like 5 minutes).

Good accommodation near city center and fits your budget. Has free breakfast. What else you need when you are on a business trip. Just block away from Bay Area Rapid Transit ( BART) which provides access to Oakland and San Fransisco International Airport.
this place is fine, clean, nice staff. stayed here overnight. BUT, if you do, the restaurant attached to it is shockingly good for what it looks like.
