We have eaten from there for over 3 years now. We are addicted to their chicken and broccoli and their chicken wings. Excellent preparation and portions size. We recommend it.

I like the service and food here. If I say they have the best sushi in the town believe me. Always fresh and delicious foods. Like visiting here during my lunch break.

I picked up a call in order got home with it only to find the order incorrect went back to the restaurant asked for the manager explained to him what was wrong, ordered the old fashioned hotdog which per the menu states comes with chili, slaw, onions mustard ketchup, got home with a plain hotdog, the manager was very rude and got into an argument with me stating I had to ask for all the ingredients that I wanted on the hotdog when I said per your menu it comes with it but his response was if we put it on there and you did not want it you would be mad, I said I ordered the hotdog all the way and I told him they were wasting my time to come back to have my order done right, he was very rude and because I was wearing a local hospital shirt he asked me where I worked and said I have wasted his time waiting in Doctors offices that has nothing to do with me and my order in his restaurant! I will NEVER go to that restaurant again even though have gone there many years, he is always rude and only speaks to his friends and sits at there tables to talk to them and ignores the rest of his customers . Not a happy customer and he did not care!

This is my usually go to spot for Chinese food, but not anymore. I ordered the burbon chicken with extra burbon sauce and I got home all the way on the other side of town only to find out my chicken was as dry as a towel out of the dryer. I blame myself for not checking in the box before I left, but I as I said this was my go to place and I never had any issues before so I never had any doubts. I called them up and I wanted was an acknowledgement that they messed up, nor did I want anything free. All they had to say well come back and we'll give you some sauce on the side or something, but instead they blamed me and said, "Maybe you left it out too long." I replied that it was just 20 minutes ago. Then they hung on after I said I won't be come back to you ever again. It's sad because they lost a loyal customer that was willing to travel just for there food. Beware of the rudeness.

I enjoyed the meal, you get a good portion, so much I had to take him.

Unfortunately I had to leave at least one star or I couldnt leave a review. Called in today to place an order at the Cottage Restaurant on N Tryon St, at about 1:45pm. I didnt have a menu in front of me, so I told the girl taking my order that I wanted House Special Chow Mein, and I asked if that was available as a lunch combo. She said no problem. I then asked for a Hunan Chicken Lunch combo, and I asked if Hunan Chicken came in a lunch combo. She asked another employee if that came in a lunch combo and she came back to me and said yes, no problem. In addition, I ordered 2 small egg drop soups and 2 extra eggrolls. I got to the restaurant about 20 minutes later and requested my order. The price was almost $25. I told the girl behind the counter that I had ordered lunch combos, and I asked what she had charged me for the two lunches. She said $8.95 for the Chow Mein and pointed to it on the menu, where it was listed as a stand alone dinner dish. I told her that was not what I had ordered, that I had ordered the lunch combo. I was told that that dish did not come as a lunch combo, nor did the Hunan Chicken, which I was charged $8.65 for. I told her that I should have been told that was not available as a lunch combo, and she just shrugged her shoulders and said, "Sorry. Do you still want it or not?". I had to take it as I didnt have time to wait for them to make another order for me, and I told her that this was the third time that they had gotten my order wrong, and that I would not be back. She said, "Ok." When I got home, the Hunan Chicken was mediocre at best, and the House Special Chow Mein was not Chow Mein, but some gloopy mixture of celery and onions in a thick brown sauce, with bits of assorted meats in it. It was inedible. The eggrolls had been fried and left sitting for a while; they were lukewarm, greasy, and chewy. The soup was the only good portion of the meal. Go somewhere else.

I been going to south 21 since 74. There food is always good. They have the best onion rings. There tea is always good. They never mix up the orders. I used to work for old del mar I have more than 25 orders they always got the orders straight. After they put that cement wall it has hurt there business it still there. I always recommend them if you are a burger eater. They also have chicken and fish. Can't go wrong going there

Great pan-Asian fare in the Southpark area, at the heart of an upscale shopping complex. Parking leaves much to be desired (probably designed to minimize the riff-raff in the area), but the food is consistently good.
