To start, they were very difficult to get in touch with on phone. I should of known then not to use them as they are not professional. Then they told me 8am they would be at my house, they didn't show up or call. I called them at 9am.... and of course no answer. I emailed, got an answer that they had to go do a repair first... Thanks for heads up. Meanwhile, I was sitting there waiting for them. They showed up 2 hours late. After getting there, they setup and show me some samples of colors on my floor. Telling me that the Brazilian Cherry does not take stain well, we go through colors. I choose the darkest stain they have as it still barely took and became a nice middle tone. Then they go ahead and do the job while I went out of town, to come back and first have complete shock of the color took really well, and the floor is now BLACK. Nothing like the sample they did. After getting over that shock I notice light spots, dark spots, just not an even stain job at all. Then I look over the stairs and they are nothing like the floors, same wood, but looking like the sample I was shown. Then up the stairs I go, and see another completely different color. Wow. Now to the area where they added a wood floor, yes you guesses another different color... And gaps in wood, and chips in the new wood.... And horribly uneven staining all over it. They told me when they showed me the stain that Brazilian Cherry is also called Iron Wood, you can dent it, or scratch it... Well they did a good job of denting it when they hammered it in... Now let's talking about scratches. They floor scratches like butter. So much for IRON wood. I had oak in my last house, and it didn't scratch no where near as easy as this. So now on a too dark black floor, the scratches show up very white. You can only imagine how that looks all over the floor. Obviously, something is wrong with the coating they used... I explained all this too them. They refuse to do anything to rectify the situation. Very BAD!!

Really nice people but a little slow. They said they are just really busy. Not a big deal because we had a lot of time for our project. But they treat you real nice and have good customer service. We're just a small company but they did a real nice job.
Great Work and Craftsmanship!!!
Please learn from my experience and stay as far away from this company as you can. They are a scam operation. Aaron took my money, only delivered half the flooring, and is now on the run from the law.
Wonderful business ethic, Scott really stands behind his work. Scott cares more about customer satisfaction than just getting paid. My floor is wonderful again, very happy, great work. Carol from Monroe.
This company is great. They arrived on time and worked the entire time. When the color did not meet my expectations they sanded it all down and started over at no extra charge. I highly recommend Scott and his team.
Flooring Innovations was the Best! they had the best prices 1/2 of lowes home depot or empire. They came right to my house and sold me a great product at the best price highly recommended
Professional, quick, dependable and affordable. I am very satisfied.
There is almost no claims that Stan Asher made in his review that are true. I will address them one by one.First, Mr. Asher claims that the installers that came to install for him were installing for the first time. This is just completely untrue. The name of the installer is Moises. Moises did the complete install for Chima Restaurant downtown, (4) four QDoba Restaurants, and RuSan Restaurant just to name a few. Moises is a well seasoned installer. Mr. Asher knows that the issues that he had with the carpet were a manufacturers issue, and that the manufacturer confirmed that fact and paid for the reinstall. Second, Mr. Asher claims that we used staples to tack the carpet down the carpet. The truth is that we only used staples to secure carpet on the steps. This is the accepted method to install carpet on steps. Third, Mr. Asher claims that we recommended this carpet to him. Mr. Asher knows that this is a complete distortion of the truth. When we were introduced to Mr. Asher, he had already gotten a bid from another company for $6,000.00 to do the same job and he presented us with the carpet that the other company had given him. We got the exact same carpet and presented him with the color pallet to choose his color, and to choose the particular quality of carpet as this carpet comes in (3) three quality levels, Base, 20oz and 26oz. Based on price, Mr. Asher chose the 20oz carpet. We never recommended this carpet nor would we. This carpet is made to be installed with no seams and in very low traffic areas. We attempted to get Mr. Asher to get a higher quality carpet and he personally refused based on cost. We installed this carpet for $4300.00...the same job that the other company had quoted $6000.00. We did this job at our cost (and eventual loss) because we do ongoing business with someone from his congregation. Mr. Asher signed off on the job when we were finished and was completely aware of the customary (1) one year warranty. I personally spoke with Stan on 4 different occasions. His assertions that my employees shielded me from him is completely untrue. In addition, we have even offered to apply the entire cost of this job to redo the job with an appropriate carpet. Carpet South is a 15+ year old company with a extensive experience in the commercial flooring and residential flooring arena. We are now and have always been willing to work with Mr. Asher with in reason. Our offer to apply that money to a new job with the appropriate carpet stands.Jim Johnson President Carpet South Design Inc.
